  • Excellent retreat location

"I organized and facilitated a retreat for a group of women who gathered for the weekend at Point Williams Lodge. This was an ideal space for our group. It was quiet, serene, and felt like a real getaway for us - even though many of us were local. Everything leading up to our weekend was organized and we felt so well taken care of throughout our time. The craftsmanship of the home is impressive, with lots of space for people to journal, take naps, and enjoy all the amenities the house has to offer. The grounds are beautiful and we were able to get some great group photos out at the point at sunset. I can't recommend this place enough and look forward to my next trip there!"

  • family vacation

"The place was clean and neat but they told us sleeps 6 but we found it only sleeps 4. Two of us end up sleeping on ground."

  • Peaceful, Serene, Perfect!

"My husband and I came to Samish Island to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. This little house could not have been more perfect. We were welcomed by our host (Jen) who was awesome and had left us a bottle of wine in celebration (*thank you Jen!*). The peaceful quiet was beyond compare. We were blessed with clear, sunny days - which we enjoyed sitting by the water in the adirondack chairs; watching the birds and water and reading for hours. The house is exceptionally decorated down to the smallest details (darling drawer pulls, wine glass charms, comfy sofas, etc...). The bed is seriously the most comfortable I have ever slept in. I slept better for those two nights than I have in a very long time. We cannot wait to stay here again. Highly recommend this little slice of Samish Island (Washington State) heaven!"

  • Lazy sunsets across the bay...

"We wanted a quiet, peaceful getaway and this ON-the-bay cottage delivered! As each day faded, we kicked our shoes off, opened up a bottle of wine and watched the gentle bay slowly change hues as the sun sank beyond the horizon. After a day exploring the island's many nearby natural attractions -- Spencer Spit, Iceberg Point, Watmough Bay -- we would return "home," sink into the comfortable furnishings and extend a toast to our good fortune in finding this one-of-a-kind property. A short walk away, we enjoyed the Love Dog Cafe, shopped at the Lopez Market and purchased delectable, drinkable souvenirs from the Lopez Island Vineyard. All in all, the Bay Inlet Beach Cottage is the perfect week-long escape for the weary traveler. We hope to make the trek from Iowa to this island gem again and again."
