  • Courtyard Suites

"We used to live on San Juan Island. Courtyard Suites was an excellent choice for us coming back to see friends for a couple of reasons. It has a designated parking spot. We were allowed to bring our pampered pooch and found "cookies" for her, as well as places that are okay for dogs on the island. It is at the heart of the town, overlooking the Saturday market which is always a fun event. It is between a bakery and a lunch deli, both with excellent food. Most important to me, the bed is comfortable - as good as our mattress at home, there was plenty of air - both many openable windows and a quiet little fan, if you are a fresh air freak like I am. I slept like the proverbial baby, something I don't do well in unfamiliar settings. In conclusion, if there were more than 5 stars, I would give them; definitely a come-back place."

  • Beautiful, secluded, amazing winter getaway

"My friends and I stayed at this cabin last winter and it was such a lovely experience! Beautiful, huge cabin, stunning views, large deck, easy access to the hottub, and pet friendly. It was such a relaxing time. Thank you for offering this beautiful home for people like me!"

  • Beautiful and Comfortable!

"This house was fantastic! Beautiful views, comfortable and clean home. The owners were very helpful and responsive, sending detailed information before our visit and even mailing us some items we accidentally left behind. We had the fortune to see bunnies grazing in the backyard each morning and evening, giving it that extra-special touch. The steps the beach from the home are extremely steep, but the access point at the end of the road was very easy and the proximity to the state park was very close."

  • 4 Families and 1 good time had!

"Thanks for providing a wonderful house for our use on a great island. First, the logistics...We had 8 adults and 7 kids under the age of 6. Not easy to manage but we had beds for all which was great. We were able to keep the babies isolated so they could nap and the kids had tons of room to play outside. The firepit was great for the adults in the evening to get a break. Next, the location: located walking distance to the town was great. The IGA and other restaurants provided all we needed and the location near the small airport provided a great place to visit for the kids. We were a 15 drive from anything on the island worth visiting such as Moran State Park (fresh water lake with a beach and play area), golf (the course isn't much but still fun round), Eastsound as mentioned above and the water itself. Finally the house and our host: Both were exactly what we needed. The house was cleaned professionally before our arrival and everything we needed (Wifi, rules of the house, etc) were clearly outlined. The BBQ was excellent as was the frisbee golf course and the tire swings. Some of the beds were 'soft' as per the reviews of my friends but it's an old house...what can you expect? Lots of room and a ton of fun. Thanks for a wonderful long weekend destination. Recommend for those who are looking to take 3-4 families away for a long weekend."
