"Sunrise Sunset House is beautiful and was the perfect location for our family group vacation! The setting is pretty and private, with a fabulous view of Spieden Channel and plenty of wildlife viewing. The home was clean and inviting, with all the amenities that a group could want and plenty of space to spread out. We enjoyed biking, hiking, kayaking and whale watching during our time on the island. The seafood and fresh produce available on the island was outstanding, too! The property manager was friendly and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our time at the house. We would highly recommend this vacation and hope that we can return again!"Guest: Two Families Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 19, 2014View listing
"We enjoyed our weekend stay at the Waterview Cottage. It is so warm & inviting...plus the nice view. It is a great location to visit near by Blaine, Lynden, Birch Bay, etc. The location is very peaceful & quiet. The view was equally nice at nice with all the lights glowing in the distance. We look forward to visiting again. The owner is very nice to deal with too."Guest: Craig & Sonya Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 22, 2014View listing
"My wife and I came here for the weekend with a few friends and our dogs. The house is wonderfully furnished and extremely nice inside. Proximity to Eastsound is great as well. Would definitely come again."Guest: LV Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: November 12, 2014View listing
"Our stay at the Hoehn Bend Farm is one we will never forget. Not only was the house clean, organized (I love labeled shelves!) and comfortable but every detail had been thought of- a pack n play set out for our baby, a dozen farm fresh eggs in the fridge, an alphabetized binder with information about the house/area, supplies in the cupboards for making cookies, lots and lots of board games, etc. And the experience of being on the farm was amazing! We took the jeep out to the pasture to see the ONE day old baby calf, helped spread hay for the cows when they came into the barn, fed the miniature donkeys, played in a huge hay fort, got eggs from the chickens, took the chickens outside on a cart, went on a hay ride to pick pumpkins from their pumpkin patch, etc. I cannot recommend this experience enough for families! It was an opportunity of a lifetime. Terry and Jean are so wonderful with kids. They encouraged each one of our kids when they tried something new and were great teachers! We will be back for sure and we can't wait to see what our new experience will be like. Every visit is different!"Guest: Jessie H.
