  • Like being in a tree house

"My husband and I stayed at this beautiful home the first week of July, including the July 4th holiday. We shared the first part of the week with another couple who are close friends and the last part of the week with our adult children. It was the perfect location for enjoying Orcas Island, a couple of miles to the Moran State Park for hiking, swimming and canoeing, and a short drive into Eastsound for groceries or other shopping. The house was immaculate and well-equipped in every way. We LIVED on the deck, feeling we were in a tree house and watching all kinds of birds circling above. One highlight of the trip was our kayak adventure at sunset (9:30 pm!) with a naturalist. We also enjoyed the organ concert at the Rosario resort, just down the hill, and the Sat morning farmer's market. Rick and Alexandra were so helpful in all our dealings. We will be back!"

  • Beautiful Condo

"First class everything! New, clean, and excellent.... right across the road from boulevard park. Absolutely gorgeous view. Sitting outside on the deck w/gas fireplace was awesome! The owner was also very helpful and friendly. We had a great weekend."

  • Vibrant, tranquil property!

"This place was exactly as billed from the reviews! The house is in wonderful condition with vibrant, fun decor; excellent kitchen amenities (including sharpened knives in great condition!); and comfortable furniture. The only "missing item" we wished for (and didn't see mentioned in reviews) was a bathtub in which to throw our delighted and dirty young kids after long days of endless entertainment in the play house and yard. The showers are walk-in only (and located in very nice bathrooms with concrete counter tops that we particularly envied). The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed being able to go jogging and bike riding from the house with quick access to quiet roads that hugged the perimeter of the island. Our last morning we were visited by 4 deer, including 3 young males. We had daily sightings of deer and the resident fox. The best things that stood out for us: easy and friendly reservations process; great communication with owners; house in impeccable condition; spacious and cozy rooms; bountiful linens; the most imaginative and creative play house for the kids stocked with so many playthings we did not need to bring our own toys; and large DVD and book collections with movies you'd actually want to watch/books you'd want to read. This rental was a tiny bit more expensive than others we considered and we are so glad we went for it--worth every penny!"

  • method cabin

"The house was clean and nice. The only issue we had is that the DVDand TV were not working. My husband knows these well but didnt want to try to trouble shoot it. We turned it on and there was nothing. I think for the price we payed this should of been working. It was in a nice town and and nice area."
