  • Stunning view!

"We thoroughly enjoyed the Sunset Beach House. We were completely mesmerized by the views through the walls of glass. We also enjoyed the fireplace on the back patio where we had dinner and made s'mores. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and the beds were comfortable. Erin was very helpful. The only issue we had was trying to figure out the heating system and many light bulbs needed replacing. La Conner is a very quaint town with cute shops and restaurants. The drive to Bellingham on the coast was beautiful."

  • A treat for your soul, the perfect island retreat.

"This property is the ideal home and location to spend time and build new traditions & memories, we loved our time spent there-every single minute. Roche Harbor is nearby and Friday Harbor is about 15 minutes away, everything you need is on the island, everything you could want for is at this property. If you do go to Roche Harbor, at sunset they perform "Colors" a celebration of the flags, not to be missed, and the food at McMillans or the Madrona is particularly good and the made fresh daily doughnuts at the Lime Kiln are exceptional. We played darts, ping-pong, took long walks, prepared delicious meals, relaxed by the fire (firewood was included) and watched movies from their selection of DVD's. Walked to the water's edge and watched blue herons fish and enjoyed quiet time sitting on the deck reading and gazing out at the bay. The kitchen is fully stocked with paper goods, spices, every conceivable pot, pan and everything in-between. The beds .. OMGoodness, the beds are so comfy and the pillows heavenly. The owners are gracious, generous and respond quickly to all and any requests. We even had a beautiful Apple computer at our disposal-how nice is that? We're so grateful Beverly and Steven share their remarkable home for others to enjoy. Thank you so much for your generosity :-)"

  • Wonderful Retreat

"We had a wonderful relaxing, restful, and enjoyable week in this cottage. We were able to sit on the cove watching the boats, birds, or read in chairs down at the water. The one day it rained we used the wood burning fireplace to keep cozy and warm while watching TV and reading. We cooked in sometimes, but generally ate at one of the several really good restaurants in the nearby town. Our cove was private and we only saw Heidi a couple of times. The kitchen was fully equipped and the antique fixtures and décor were very pleasing and functional. The pictures don't really do the property justice. We would definitely plan to vacation here again if we decide to come to the area. The location is very convenient to the ferry, grocery, and town."

  • Private beach with view!

"My parents and I rented this little cottage for 3 nights in September. We had amazing weather and the house and grounds were perfect for us. My mother loved the kitchen, and my Dad and I the view of the water, private beach and view of Mt. Baker. I spent all of the mornings watching the sunrise over Mt. Baker just to go back and watch the alpenglow on Mt. Baker as the sunset behind us. Neighbors were quiet. House had everything we needed. I believe the owner is a descendant of the original homesteader and we chatted with some family a bit when they drove down the lane. Very welcoming and friendly. The rental company was easy to work with and gave very detailed directions on how to get to this little part of the island. The only thing I would change for next time is maybe to pay for the housecleaning as the list of things to do made us a bit nervous. That said, I promptly received my full deposit back. Would definitely return."
