  • Spacious, beautiful house - perfect location!

"Stayed here with 3 couples total and 2 kids. Plenty of room and pictures are completely accurate. Extremely clean house and great wrap-around deck for happy hour before grilling outside. Spacious open floor plan kitchen/living room. Would stay here again!"

  • Amazing Stay, Beginning to End.

"From the moment we walked into the cottage until the moment we left, our stay was amazing. The quiet neighborhood gives you a sense of privacy without a sense of isolation. Romantic sunsets and serene sunrises accompany the soft sounds of the water. While the water is lovely, the trees and mountain across the bay provide a lovely view even at low tide. During our stay we saw a delightful hummingbird who seems quite fond of the eaves over the back door, several eagles, a pair of cranes, and even an adorable bunny who leapt across the back deck. The cottage provides you comfort and convenience while you enjoy the natural beauty. The cottage is decorated tastefully but in a relaxed and comfortable way. You feel relaxed and welcome. When you enter the house, you can see a lot of care has been put into it and that it's well maintained. Immaculately clean and very inviting. The kitchen has a variety of utensils for cooking and if you're not in the mood to cook, there are many restaurants in Ferndale and Bellingham. And if you go to Bellingham, be sure to check out Fairhaven - there are some excellent bookstores if you're looking for beach reading material, charming shops for souvenirs, and some lovely restaurants and cafes. We stayed for our six month wedding anniversary and would highly recommend it for a quiet romantic spot. However, there is ample space and lots of activities in the area if you're looking for a family vacation or girls weekend away. It's a nice size that's big enough to be comfortable but still cosy. It's a really great rental and lives up to the positive reviews and high rating. This place is truly lovely, we really appreciate Chris renting to us and hope very much to rent again in future!"

  • Great location for summer hiking

"I wanted to hike in the Mt Baker area. For close access, you can not beat this condo. Everything was provided for a pleasant stay. While there was no cell service, I found the internet access in the clubhouse was more than adequate to check emails and the internet though a bit slow. The setting on the Nooksack River was beautiful. Along with the Mt Baker hikes, there was a wonderful trail (Horseshoe Bend) less than a mile down the road. This condo was a great headquarters for my weekend of hiking."
