"We found this a very cozy and comfortable place to stay. It was very well-maintained and the kitchen had absolutely everything anyone could need for cooking and serving food. The washer and dryer were very useful and worked well. The TV could do with updating to a newer model, but we didn't really come there to watch the box all day, it was much nicer to sit on the deck and watch the river go by. It also lacked Wi-Fi, but we managed to pick up some internet at the local library. The town of concrete was much more attractive than it's name suggests, it has some historic buildings as well as a fine bridge and dam. The nearby Baker Lake is lovely and the location was a very good base to explore the North Cascades. We had a great time there."Guest: Jackie G. "the first thing I look for is "pet friendly," which this place certainly is. there's even a fenced-in area off the deck for your pup. some pet-friendly rentals can be rustic. this home is beautiful, spotless and quiet with many amenities. I liked it so much I was inspired to write my first haiku: Rosario Heights the very best place to stay on Orcas Island =) Orcas Island is a magical place, and this is a lovely home."Guest: Jane W. "I rented this place for my family flying into town for my wedding at Rosario, and they could not have been more pleased. The house was beautiful, in impeccable shape, had wifi (which is a must on Orcas), and was stocked with games, movies, ping pong, etc. -The house is on a hill just north of the resort mansion and has amazing views and a nice open floor plan. Additionally, the wall between the deck and living room daisy chains open for a great indoor/outdoor living experience. -The owner was very friendly and responsive as well."Guest: Stan Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 30, 2014View listing
