"Review #8829228 Family vacation 2014 Hi Cindy, I just wanted to let you know how much our whole family enjoyed our stay at your 'cabin'. It is beautiful both inside and out! A pool tournament, games by the outdoor fireplace and many hours down by the lake are just some of the highlights. Morning and evening visits by a deer, the Canada geese swimming by and seeing what we thought was a beaver delighted everyone. The high end finishes along with the very comfortable outdoor furniture, brand new bbq, smoker and outdoor griddle were so nice to use. We also appreciated the sunny and shady areas by the water. Mike the caretaker was always available yet never intrusive. Your quick response to all of my questions prior to booking were appreciated. It was a fantastic week for all of us! Thank you!"Guest: happyfamily Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 20, 2014View listing
"This a magnificent spot - views right out over Puget Sound with all its islands, mountains in the distance. This is a large house set on a large property. We enjoyed the indoor lap pool and outdoor jacuzzi, good TV for watching the World Cup that was on. In the days we went off hiking at different places on the island and found some nice places to eat. Mostly we barbecued on the deck enjoying the spectacular sunsets."Guest: Jenny Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: August 11, 2014View listing
"Sunrise was everything previous reviews indicated and more. The home is well constructed with new appliances, beautiful landscaping, fantastic views and centrally located for sightseeing in Vancouver, Seattle, Mt Baker and North Cascade National Park. You have to plan off island activities around ferry times but that was no problem. We had a great time and would definitely return."Guest: Cliff E. "We enjoyed every precious moment at this beautiful home with the breathtaking scenery. The home had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer! We enjoyed a campfire one evening. We also explored the beach at low tide and savored the fresh air during high tide. Myself, husband, 12 year old son & 11 year old daughter loved our stay here & we were so sad to leave. We cannot wait to return. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The views from inside the house and outside are gorgeous. The location to Friday Harbor was so convenient. We went exploring at American and English Camps and shopping in Friday Harbor. We went on two whale watching trips and experienced the amazing orcas and beautiful Pacific White Sided Dolphins!!! Thank you so so much to Kristy and Charles for sharing your amazing home and property !!! We look forward to a return trip!"Guest: Mary Ann R.
