  • Amazing!

"This cabin experience was amazing! The view was better than the view I've gotten from long hikes to the mountains, but so easily accessible and without people traffic. The cabin was so isolated you could not see other houses if you tried. Total peace and quiet! Waking up in that loft with the sunrise was the best way to start the day of soaking in the hot tub and filling our time all at the cabin with no need to leave! One suggestion is to bring your own music player (or CDs) if you desire music other than radio. :)"

  • Wonderful!

"What a wonderful vacation spent in your beautiful home on your beautiful island. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. You can't beat the location, view and all of the "extras" you included. We loved spending time on the deck watching the wildlife around us and the sea critters below. So peaceful, the evening ferries were the best part with their lights reflecting on the water. So beautiful, peaceful and serene. We spent a great deal of time just enjoying the space. We picked up oysters from Buck Bay (thank you for the recommendation and for the oyster shucking tools), and enjoyed them with a fresh shallot and ginger mignonette, and some cheeses, salamis and Prosecco from the market at the Ferry landing (very close and a lot of great stuff packed into that small space), and the chocolates from the little chocolate shop in the east sound-yum!! The kids enjoyed the game selection and roasting marshmallows on the lower patio. When we did venture from the property, we had fun kayaking and hiking around Mt Constitution! So beautiful! Thank you again, we hope you'll have us back!"

  • Crazy house - Unbeatable view

"Could look at that view forever! Saw the deer, they were completely at home. Not a place for anyone with mobility issues but certainly every thing two people needed. Deposit was returned immediately and owner was helpful."

  • Fabulous Location, Fabulous Experience

"The location of this studio can't be beat! Three of us traveled to Orcas Island for a wedding, and this rental was perfect. It's spacious, welcoming, and clean. We were able to walk across the street to the Brown Bear Bakery for breakfast (SO delicious), and we could easily walk to numerous shops in Eastsound. Also, booking the studio was easy, and Susan had great customer service. A couple things to note: This studio gets a lot of light! I loved it, but if you need total darkness to sleep, keep that in mind. Also, the local business below the shop has a roll-up door that we could hear in the mid-morning (around 9:30am or 10am, I think). We were awake, but you could definitely hear that opening."
