  • Cute place in great location

"I had a great weekend wine tasting in Walla Walla, and was lucky to be able to stay in this little house. For three people it was just the right size, and you can't beat the location!"

  • 7 Cyclists

"A group of 7 women cyclist and wine enthusiasts spent 3 nights at the Tandem House at the end of Sept. 2014. We were delighted by the roominess for all 7 of us (6 slept upstairs, 1 downstairs). The back entry way proved to be a perfect fit for our bikes, the front sitting room was our yoga studio (our Boise, Idaho gal teaches yoga) and we loved gathering on the back patio after our morning rides. The kitchen was spacious so several of us could be in the kitchen at one time preparing our coffee, tea, toast, eggs, or oatmeal before a morning ride. The Tandem House was absolutely perfect for our memorable weekend in Walla Walla.....loved it!"

  • PERFECT AND WE'LL BE BACK!!!!!!!

"We had visitors of all ages ranging from 3mos - 65yo. There is something for everyone at this vacation rental. The pool, outdoor seating area, pool table and super comfy seating in the living room and dining room were perfect for entertaining everyone. The kitchen was completely stocked, including most staples, crockpot, mixer, blender, etc. All you need are groceries specific to your menu. The outdoor pool house with additional refrigerator and bathroom were perfect to keep everyone from going in and out of the house while entertaining. We have family from both my side and my Husband's side of the family in the area and we will definitely be back! Make sure and visit Viera's Mexican Bakery in Pasco. It's only minutes from the house and they have any type of bakery item you could want. We especially enjoyed the jalapeno and cream cheese filled bread. Load up your tray while you're there and don't worry about the expense. We had a tray piled high and it was less than $14. Also, there's a homemade popsicle shop near the bakery. They make many varieties of popsicles including coffee, guava, cookies and cream, papaya and many more. Absolutely delic!!!!!! The only thing we needed and couldn't find at the nearby grocery stores were some citronella candles for outdoors. We could have probably found these at Wal-Mart but never made it there."

  • Surprise 60th Birthday Bash

"We celebrated a surprise 60th birthday party for my wife at this venue. We had toured it two years ago with another couple when my wife casually mentioned we should have her birthday her in 2014. Of course she forgot that, but I remembered. The house is spectacular. With eight bedrooms plus sleeping for two in the guest house we had enough room for our little party of 17. My only regret was not understanding the bathroom situation better before all guests arrived. Upstairs there are two "Jack and Jill" bathrooms serving the six upstairs bedrooms. This was a bit awkward, as while there is other toilet rooms, there are not toilets with showers or tubs. Once we got everyone situated, all was well but some of the guests had to use a bathroom downstairs for showering. Woody, the main man at Basel Cellars, was absolutely incredible. He attended to our every need. He made the incredible event even more incredible. He even kept my wife's attention as the guests, some of whom had flown in from Boston, Austin, Denver and Sacramento, came out of the kitchen one by one...to huge squeals and exclamations from the birthday girl. The downstairs was put to great use as well. The pool table saw rousing games of eight ball. The adjacent stage witnessed bad karaoke. The theater room was the location where we all gathered to watch a video tribute to my wife put together by not only those in attendance, but by those who could not make it. All edited by my very talented graphic design daughter. All in all we had a MARVELOUS time."
