  • Conference space that's better than a hotel

"We needed a space for a conference weekend and didn't want to stay at a hotel. This space was excellent!!!"

  • Trip to Walla Walla

"We stayed at this location last December and was perfect as it is located a few blocks from our son, his wife and our grandchildren. It allowed us to bring our grandchildren to this apartment and cook meals for them. This time, we brought our two eldest grandchildren for meals, had meals for the whole family at times, took the children to Pioneer Park which is very close by and it was perfect for our needs. By staying here and having the two eldest grandchildren over, it gave our daughter in law time to relax. Everyone was blessed. Will we return here? Absolutely."

  • Highly recommended. Perfect for Fido too.

"We enjoyed a four night stay in this cottage and were very happy with our choice. The cottage was very clean, tastefully furnished and decorated, contained comfortable beds, and the appliances and heaters worked well. The garden is fully enclosed and included a small stream and picnic area. We didn't use the BBQ or bicycles but were happy they were available. It was a very close walk to the Whitman campus and only about a 10 minute stroll to downtown Walla Walla. We visited in the fall and the tree-lined streets in the neighborhood were colorful."

  • College reunion @ Hummingbird Hill Lodge

"Spent a weekend catching up with old college friends at the Hummingbird Hill cabin in October and had an amazing time. There were 7 of us and we got there late on a Friday night weary from a long day of traveling. The second we stepped inside the cabin everyone's spirit was lifted because we were absolutely blown away by how amazing the interior was. Plenty of beds of all sizes, HUGE TV in the den, endless amount of DVDs, Blu-Rays, even HD-DVDs, spacious kitchen, the whole works. Oh yeah, there's also a hot tub! There's all kinds of seating around the deck which encircles the whole cabin, perfect for late night conversations about the great times in school, or for grabbing a cup of coffee in the morning to soak up the view. Speaking of, the view from the cabin in the morning is breathtaking. There's plenty of areas to go hiking nearby (~15mins), and Jim, the owner, was very kind in providing me with lots of information on activities. We saw some interesting wildlife during our stay including quail, a hawk or falcon perched on a nearby tree, and of course hummingbirds. Overall the stay was absolutely enjoyable and we were want for nothing. The kitchen came stocked with a lot of basics (coffee, filters, sugar, condiments, butter, incl. a massive amount of different hot sauces), and even some more substantial ingredients. Highly recommend the cabin to any type of group and would love to come back in the future. Thanks so much Jim for an amazing stay!"
