"We (2) stayed here for just two nights while visiting Walla Walla and the College. Sherrie is a great host and very understanding. The studio is extremely clean, the full kitchen is terrific for dinner in. The studio has a good vibe, and due to the studio size, it heats quickly! Great place to use to just crash after a long day out, or spend time in on a lazy day. I will stay here again if/when I return for another visit."

"We celebrated a surprise 60th birthday party for my wife at this venue. We had toured it two years ago with another couple when my wife casually mentioned we should have her birthday her in 2014. Of course she forgot that, but I remembered.
The house is spectacular. With eight bedrooms plus sleeping for two in the guest house we had enough room for our little party of 17. My only regret was not understanding the bathroom situation better before all guests arrived. Upstairs there are two "Jack and Jill" bathrooms serving the six upstairs bedrooms. This was a bit awkward, as while there is other toilet rooms, there are not toilets with showers or tubs. Once we got everyone situated, all was well but some of the guests had to use a bathroom downstairs for showering.
Woody, the main man at Basel Cellars, was absolutely incredible. He attended to our every need. He made the incredible event even more incredible. He even kept my wife's attention as the guests, some of whom had flown in from Boston, Austin, Denver and Sacramento, came out of the kitchen one by one...to huge squeals and exclamations from the birthday girl.
The downstairs was put to great use as well. The pool table saw rousing games of eight ball. The adjacent stage witnessed bad karaoke. The theater room was the location where we all gathered to watch a video tribute to my wife put together by not only those in attendance, but by those who could not make it. All edited by my very talented graphic design daughter.
All in all we had a MARVELOUS time."
