  • Elk Trail Lodge

"What a beautiful place to stay. Elk roaming in the front yard and mountain peaks full of snow. It was everything and more than I had expected. Cabin was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. The owners had it decorated for Christmas which was great because it gave us a chance to have Christmas with my son who is stationed at Ft. Lewis. It was a couple hours drive from Seattle airport, but very easy to get to. I would recommend it to friends and relatives. If we go back, we will definitely stay there again. Mt. Rainier is absolutely breathtaking. Being from the south, playing in the snow was great. Thank you again Carie for a wonderful and relaxing time."

  • A Perfect Retreat

"This is the most well appointed vacation home we've ever rented. Everything was perfect; comfy beds, beautiful decor and an extremely well-equipped kitchen! The house is so well designed to be used--entry area for wet gear, fireplace to get warm, & a patio for warm weather. We had a great time at Mt. Rainier & just relaxing with family & friends."

  • What a cabin should be!

"We had a great time at the cabin. The place is large, clean with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an equipped kitchen. It is located 10 min. outside the Packwood center in a quiet forest packed with blackberries with a river nearby. The out tub on the deck was very welcome after long days on Mt Rainier and the garden was providing fresh veggies for our supper. A great place to stay, explore and relax."

Relax and Unwind with Southwest Washington Vacation Rentals

The scenic area of southwest Washington offers breathtaking scenery, sandy beaches, small port towns and all the activities of the Northern Cascade Mountains close by. The area is known for its fertile estuaries and centuries-old landmarks. It now offers a delightful escape from city life for vacationers looking to relax and enjoy the spectacular local scenery.

Walking and beachcombing are popular activities at spectacular Ruby Beach with its piles of driftwood. Whale watching is an exciting activity in this area, and many companies at Westport and Ocean Shores offer boat trips to see the Pacific grey whales which migrate along the coast from March to May.
