"My husband and I wanted to take our three children away for the weekend of Spring Break, but couldn't find Just the Right place to go. I sent a message through VRBO just asking for information and almost immediately I got a professional email back, followed by a phone call the next morning. I'm glad they followed up with me because this location ended up being Perfect! Close to I-5, on site fishing, games for us to play, fully stocked facilities with everything we could have possibly needed for a weekend in the PNW. When it was sunny we were outside with teather ball, fishing off the dock in the back yard and enjoying the view from around the fire pit. When it rained we went inside where there was plenty of room for all 5 of us to comfortably move around one another and play board games, old school video games and a fully outfitted kitchen for us to cook in. The house is orderly, clean and laid out in an interesting way that fully showcases the view. Lots of extra blankets and towels helped us stay comfy. We will definitely be going back.
If I Had to say anything slightly negative it would be that there was no Wifi (which was actually a good thing. It kept my kids disconnected), and the stereo was unable to connect to Blue Tooth so there was no real way to listen to our music even from our phones. Really, though, there was nothing really negative I could say about this vacation spot. Customer service and the location itself were stellar!
Also, on a side note, we have Sprint cell service and had full service (4G lte) there the whole time (since cell service is mentioned on the papers as being spotty)."

"We so enjoyed this home which is as lovely as the photos suggest.
The furnishings are quite tasteful, the bedding and linens are very nice quality, and even the kitchen is shockingly well appointed (and I cook professionally).
It was also nice of the owners to provide stunning sunrises and sunsets at no extra charge!
I would highly recommend this VRBO to couples, and for lots of friends to get together, as we did.
We're already hoping to go back- with a canoe or kayak.
Maybe bring your own speakers for your iphone if you enjoy background music, but otherwise EVERYTHING was provided and clean-up a snap. A VERY comfortable and lovely home."

"The owners of the property was so nice and easy to deal with from the start. We wanted to visit Riffe lake as my wife went fishing there for many years with her dad, and a couple weeks ago he passed away. I wanted to take her back to the lake with our kids, but I really didn't want to stay in a motel in another city. I contacted the owners about the property just 2 days before the weekend that we wanted to use the home and they went out of their way to make sure we could use their house the following weekend.
We arrived at the home on Friday around 3pm, and the immediate feel of the property was very homie. The home was a log cabin in the woods on a fishing lake, but had a very high end feel to the property which is what I was hoping for. The fireplace was the hit of the stay, and all I can say is the pictures don't do it justice. The fireplace was massive!! The cabin was very neat and clean, plus came fully equipped with nice appliances throughout. There was a large wood shed outside that we took some wood for the fireplace. The bonus room was perfect for our kids. There was a pool table, air hockey table, and a ping pong table that went over the pool table. There was also a small TV with some movies for the kids upstairs but between the bonus room, board games, and just hanging out the TV only got turned on for a few minutes the entire weekend.
The only downfall with the entire stay was not being able to bring our Boston Terrier, but we knew this going in to the rental. The plus side was the neighborhood golden retriever that you will hear about on other reviews. I saw the pup on Saturday morning when I went for a walk. The dog came down off the neighbors porch to see me, and didn't leave my side the entire walk. He made sure to bring his tennis ball with him everywhere he went. When I came back to the cabin I had my kids come out to see him. The kids and the dog played right away and named him Stan since we didn't know his name. After Saturday morning "Stan" would be hanging out with us the rest of the weekend wherever we went. We found out when the trip was over that his real name is Rusty, but I'm sure if you called him Stan he would come!
All in all this was a great trip, and we already have plans on staying there more this year."
