"If you are going to Rainier and/or St.Helens this is THE place to stay. With three bedrooms and two baths and a large deck this is perfect for six adults or a family of 8-10. The home is spotless and well stocked with books, cd's dvd's pots, pans, games' etc. The privacy is amazing. Large wooded lot with creatures all around. The view of the mountains and up and down the river is cause enough to spend an entire evening on the deck. Thank God for the A/C because it was hotter than an Oregon Duck fan on January 12th. Would recommend yo anyone. Thank you Mark."

"We tried to find some place close to our daughter because she had just had twins 3 months ago, 17 month old, 4th grader, 9th grader, and senior in high school. We had not seen any of them in over 3 years, some longer than that because we live on the other side of the country. It was a great place to go hiking near by, watch movies, play games (both board and video/wii provided), and have marshmallows over a fire pit(barbeque forks provided), and grill out (really great grill in an inclosed area). The teenagers had internet and we had lots of baby time as well as meals together. The house is absolutely wonderful and they even provided pack-n-plays for the infants. The bedding and towels were wonderful and there were incidentals that some may forget to bring such as laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, and travel size shower products and coffee. State of the art dishwasher that was so quiet we had to check a couple of times to make sure it was running. The steam/jacuzzi/shower tub was used and enjoyed by many in the family, a wonderful addition to the house and very relaxing. The washer and dryer and second bathroom upstairs made it truly feel like home and the loft sleeping area made it fun for the teenagers. The stay truly went far beyond anything we had ever hoped for. Make sure you plan your meals and shop before you come in and you don't even really need to leave the property. If you read and follow the instructions that are provided your stay will be easy, fun, and relaxing. The best part was the family memories that will last forever."

"I have never been to this area before but thought we would give it a go. Have to tell you that the cabin is amazing there is everything you need and more. There is no cell service but we were warned about it and they have Vonage so NO PROBLEM. The place is so amazing quiet and peaceful the perfect weekend getaway. Bed was so comfy and slept like a baby. It was my girlfriends birthday and i can't thank you enough for such a wonderful getaway. Like the person before she warned of green water in the hot tub but it was crystal clear and warm. We will be back in the future and i have to believe it would really be amazing with some snow in the winter. Thank you Kathy it was AWESOME."

"We stayed at Bob’s cabin over the weekend just a few weeks ago. Brought out of town guests to Mt. Rainier for some hiking and relaxation. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and hope to return. The cabin is homey and equipped with everything you need for a weekend or a few days away. The hot tub overlooking the river is a highlight and the kitchen has everything you need for basic meal prep. Love how organized the owners are too with the whole “welcome to the cabin” packet with a list of everything included. Makes packing/prep super easy. Only gripe of the weekend was the pluming (shower, bathroom) which backed up a few hours after we arrived HOWEVER, the owner was incredibly responsive and took the extra steps to be sure our experience was a positive one. We hope to return this winter as the cabin would be a great jumping off point for a local winter getaway at Crystal Mountain."
