  • Cozy, Clean & Quite

"First time renting in Packwood for a weekend of snow skiing and found it was well worth it! Drive to White Pass from the home was about 30 minutes which was great. The house itself was well stocked with anything you needed for cooking, plenty of bath towels, and nice comfortable furnishings too. The hot tub could have been a little warmer, but that is the only down side to this rental expereince. The property owners were very nice and super easy to work with. Overall we had a great experience and will return. Thank You!!!"

  • Family ski trip

"Your home is beautiful, very well appointed, and exceptionally well laid out. While the skiing was"damp" this weekend, we all had a wonderful time and enjoyed the football game in your comfy great room. We would all recommend your home to anyone looking to enjoy the Mt. Rainier/White Pass area."

  • Cozy sweet little cabin...very good value

"This modest little cabin has been nicely updated. It is clean, comfortable and is a very good value. ...all you need for a cozy convenient place to stay while skiing at White Pass. The owner, Scott, is very responsive and helpful. The loft sleeping area is up some steep stairs with a very low handrail...so probably not suitable for very young children or elderly folks. Otherwise, we can recommned it without reservation. [BTW, one of the reviewers mentioned that one of the beds was not comfortable. We tried both of them and thought they were each fine...and very similar.]"

  • Summer Fun with three generations!

"I stayed here with my husband, my sister's family and my parents for 2 nights, 3 days. The first thing everyone said upon walking in was "WoW!" The house is airy and full of skylights. Everything was clean and easy to use (well-marked). There was an awesome fire pit outside with firewood provided. We had a campfire every night. We roasted s'mores and looked for shooting stars. You can see so many more stars in Greenwater than in the city. The bath/spaceship downstairs was amazing! My sister said it was the best bath ever and she made us all take one. She was right! Music, lights, steam, jets, bubbles! I was worried we would run out of hot water, but we never did! There was plenty of room for 3 separate couples to have privacy and space to themselves. My husband and I took the loft and it was cozy, but fun. There is river access in the next cul-de-sac a few steps away. It was fun to wade through the water and dig your toes in the gooey sand/silt. There wasn't much beach, but the river itself is entertaining. Best of all, the owners were very quick to respond and quite accommodating. We requested early check in and got a response right away. They even emailed to let us know we can check out late if we like. I had a hard time finding the river access and they emailed within minutes of my inquiry. The price was great for such an amazing house. This was a great house for a family with kids (or without kids :o). I think we will be back for years to come! FYI: The general store is open until 6pm, so plan accordingly. Bring long campfire sticks for roasting marshmallows. They supplied short sticks, but it got a bit toasty on the hands :o) The pantry had a lot of supplies, but I think it just depends on who left what before you. Bring your own supplies, just in case."
