  • Great Cabins, Had A Blast Snowshoeing

"Spent last week before New Year's Eve at the Little Bears Cabin and had a blast. There were 5 of us plus a golden retriever and we all felt right at home and had plenty of space to spread out. Games every night, snowshoeing during the day, and plenty of big meals - all in all a perfect family retreat. Had to call the maintenance man at one point but he was there in minutes and helped us figure out what we were doing wrong - many thanks! Would recommend these cabins to any and all looking for a getaway to Mt. Rainier!"

  • Summer Fun with three generations!

"I stayed here with my husband, my sister's family and my parents for 2 nights, 3 days. The first thing everyone said upon walking in was "WoW!" The house is airy and full of skylights. Everything was clean and easy to use (well-marked). There was an awesome fire pit outside with firewood provided. We had a campfire every night. We roasted s'mores and looked for shooting stars. You can see so many more stars in Greenwater than in the city. The bath/spaceship downstairs was amazing! My sister said it was the best bath ever and she made us all take one. She was right! Music, lights, steam, jets, bubbles! I was worried we would run out of hot water, but we never did! There was plenty of room for 3 separate couples to have privacy and space to themselves. My husband and I took the loft and it was cozy, but fun. There is river access in the next cul-de-sac a few steps away. It was fun to wade through the water and dig your toes in the gooey sand/silt. There wasn't much beach, but the river itself is entertaining. Best of all, the owners were very quick to respond and quite accommodating. We requested early check in and got a response right away. They even emailed to let us know we can check out late if we like. I had a hard time finding the river access and they emailed within minutes of my inquiry. The price was great for such an amazing house. This was a great house for a family with kids (or without kids :o). I think we will be back for years to come! FYI: The general store is open until 6pm, so plan accordingly. Bring long campfire sticks for roasting marshmallows. They supplied short sticks, but it got a bit toasty on the hands :o) The pantry had a lot of supplies, but I think it just depends on who left what before you. Bring your own supplies, just in case."

  • Yes, felt like coming to the family cabin

"Lynette and Di really open up their place for you, welcoming in every way from the gifts they left for my son's 18th BDay (and wine bottle for us), to an open kitchen with pancake mix my boys were so excited to see after a week of mainly cereal & yogurt ;) Cabin is spacious and well kept, hot tub clean and relaxing, DVD movie selection better than most rental stores! Had some trouble with the WiFi, but the disconnect in this beautiful place was OK :) GREAT location for Sunrise side of Rainier... Highly recommend"

  • Loved it!

"The house was wonderful - had everything we needed. We had a two-year old with us, so brought a baby gate - and also used one that was already there. A beautiful, comfortable home that we'd love to visit again some day!"
