"This is a very comfortable vacation home with great amenities. Our relatives from England remarked that the rental is truly an American home in the mountain with an American decor and feel. We had a wonderful time hiking Mt Rainier National Park. Definitely a place to come back to."

"This is an awesome property; after 3 days of volleyball competition it was great to have the peace and quiet of this mountain property to host my Chicago friends. They were blown away. It was clean, plenty of space for team members; great kitchen; comfortable beds. We enjoyed walking around the area and taking the gondola at Crystal for lunch. Great for families, single folks."

"First off I would like to say this is a great place to stay for mountain biking. It is centrally located near the trails and close to Greenwater if you need anything. The house is clean and cozy. The internet was incredibly fast especially considering the remote area. There was plenty of room in the Elk Crossing Chalet and would be ideal for 3-4 couples or 3 couples and one that has kids as one of the bedrooms has a queen bed and a double bed in the same room.
Two things I would note for anyone staying here: First off, while there is a fire pit with plenty of firewood, the fire pit is located on the side of the Eagles Nest cabin which is a smaller mother-in-law type unit above the garage on the same property as the Elk Crossing Chalet. We did not use the fire pit while we stayed there simply because of the awkward location. It feels like an invasion of privacy to the people staying in the Eagles Nest Cabin if you ask me. Especially if you don't know the people staying there (which we didn't and they had a small child).
The second thing to note is the shared hot tub with the Eagles Nest Cabin. The hot tub is located directly out front of both places so its a little more "common" area than the fire pit but ideally both properties (although on the same property) should have their own fire pit at a minimum. We did use the hot tub however and it was amazing!
It would be great if there was a big group occupying both places then it wouldn't be a big deal. But it's not ideal when you don't know your immediate neighbor (and by immediate I mean the two rentals are only a driveways width apart, i.e. maybe 30 feet).
I would also note if you are planning on cooking while you stay here (which I recommend because there's not really anyplace else to eat except the Naches Tavern which is great for about "one night out" at the pub so to speak - and its pricey for what you get) bring your own spices because the Chalet is out of pretty much everything including salt and pepper, coffee, sugar, etc.
I would definitely recommend staying here as a large group and renting both the Eagles Nest and the Elk Crossing together. It would be a super fun place to stay for a ski weekend or mountain biking weekend in the summer. We had a blast staying here for the weekend. Thanks."

"We were able to book this cabin extremely last minute, and it still had all the things we needed to best suit our family. There was a baby gate for the stairs, and my dog was welcome to join us!! The couches were great, and the DVD player was awesome to have each night to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Sunrise was our primary location to see and hike, so the cabin couldn't have been located in a better place. Also very close to Crystal Mountain. We would definitely look to book this cabin for any future trips to Mt Rainier."
