"We spent the long Thanksgiving weekend here for a fun family getaway. My husband, brother-in-law, three kids (ages 6,3, and 1), dog and I had a wonderful time. The house is spacious and well-stocked with everything you could need. I made Thanksgiving dinner here and was very pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen had all the tools that I needed, they really thought of everything! My kids loved tromping around in the woods around the house and relaxing in the hot tub was the perfect end to every day. The fireplaces in the main living room and the master bedroom keep everything toasty and give the house a nice, cozy feel. The fact that the place is named "Moosewood Manor" is just icing on the cake! My kids really got a kick out of the name, as well as the moose décor, and were so sad to leave. The house is very kid-friendly: lots of kids board games, books, a baby gate, and a high chair were all provided. It was also nice to be able to have our dog with us. Because we were there on a cold/rainy winter weekend, we didn't really get out and explore as much as we would have liked to but we're already contemplating a return in the summer when we can enjoy Mt. Rainier and maybe take a day trip to St. Helens. Thanks for a memorable holiday weekend!"

"Stayed here with my mom, dad, and 6 yr old nephew. So nice to have separate rooms vs a hotel single room. Kitchen is well stocked with all the dishes needed to make almost anything. Very comfortable living area. Bathroom was great...water pressure could have been slightly better in the shower, but doubt owners can control that. Bedroom beds were pretty good, nothing wonderful but comfortable enough. Couch bed was very springy so extra blankets were put down for padding, then it slept well. Wonderful to have the entry area tiled floor so one can remove shoes. Loved the large windows in the bedrooms that let in the breezes at night. Portable AC unit in the living room did well to cool the living, kitchen, dining area. Bedrooms were cooled with the temp going down at night and keeping the blinds closed during the day. They do have a single large fan on site for using. The owners were wonderful to work with and VERY responsive to email."

"We had a a lovely 2 days in this cabin. It was very clean and the kitchen was well supplied. The beds were very comfy and we slept so well in the quiet woods! There are lots of great hikes in the Packwood area and you are very close to Mt Rainer National Park. We are planning on coming back and exploring more. We would certainly stay at this cabin again!
The owners were super helpful and answered all our questions very quickly. We highly recommend this cabin!"

"Everything was exactly as the description said. The cabin was super clean, well stocked with everything we needed and very well maintained. The owner was prompt with a response and she was happy to accommodate our few special requests.
I would definitely recommend this cabin to friends and family."
