  • Wonderful Cabin Experience

"We thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay at the St. Helens cabin. We only wish we could have stayed longer. The photos don't do the cabin justice. It was even better than expected. Owner was very accommodating in arranging our last-minute getaway. The cabin location was incredible. We loved the seclusion and privacy. Although there are other cabins on the property, the layout and trees provide distance and privacy. We loved that the river was just a short, fun walk across the property. The cabin layout was awesome with plenty of room for larger groups. We had more than enough space being a family of four. We loved being able to sit around the fire pit and relax in the hot tub. The most notable thing about this cabin was the foresight and thought put into providing a clean and well maintained cabin. Everything you need, such as towels and linens, soap, kitchen items, even laundry detergent and fabric softener were provided with the washer and dryer. They make it easy to just arrive and enjoy your stay. They even provide a drawer of board games, as well as dvd's and cd's for entertainment. It was a wonderful cabin experience and we would definitely come here again!"

  • Super clean, lots of space, loved it!

"We have stayed in a few other Packwood rentals and this certainly a keeper. Granite, tile, super clean, great decor, well-stocked kitchen - really well done. I was hesitant to book based on another reviewer's comment that it was 45 to White Pass but it's only 2 mlies out of Packwood, about 25 minutes with some slush. We drove daily to ski without a problem. Only minor thing I would clarify is that the king bedroom is technically a loft - the bed sits far back in the loft room, so there's no line of sight up from the living room (which is larger than photos appear), but noise can travel up if you're with a group. The best thing about this 'cabin' is the awesome view, huge yard and privacy. Will certainly re-book!"

  • Awesome home

"What an awesome home. Maybe too nice, since we were there with 6 children, our goal was to leave early each morning to go to Rainier and St Helens, but with the spacious main room, hot tub, great trail to the river and all new bathrooms/showers, we had a tough time getting everyone to leave the house to go hiking! If and when we return, I'm looking NO further than this location. Make sure to check out the trail to the river. It's right across the road and only .25 mile walk to a beautiful river and view! Honestly, if this was MY HOUSE, I would not change a thing! Thanks Again for letting us stay. Mark C South Park Pa"

  • Great cabin to jump off for adventuring.

"Cozy cabin, it has a great location, just minutes from Mount Rainier National Park (which we visited every day). Loved seeing elk on the roads in town. Kids loved the bunk bed, board games and hot tub. I loved that it was clean and reminded me of my grandmother's house (except for she didn't have t.v.s in every room)."
