Wonderful Vacation Home
"Our family really enjoyed our stay in your vacation home during our trip to visit Mount Rainier. The location ended up being perfect for a couple of day trips into the national park. We enjoyed the views from the front deck of the forest, mountains and evening sunsets. Would definitely recommend this to others."

"We stayed at the cabin mid July for a family reunion and had a very wonderful time! The cabin is exactly as pictured, the beds were all very comfortable, the kitchen is quite large and well stocked, the hot tub is large and works great! With only 1 full bath, it took a bit of organizing but it worked fine for us. We are all related so we have had lots of practice sharing a space :-) . It is a mile or so from the golf course and club amenities. There was a picture of the golf course off the back of a deck and I made the assumption that was the deck of the cabin we were renting. It obviously wasn't and I later saw that they noted the course was a mile away from the cabin. We were very happy with our stay and want to stay there for next years reunion."

"To say this beautiful home is a cabin is an understatement. It's a well appointed, beautifully designed home in the woods. My husband and I spent 4 nights with 2 other couples in the Olmsted's cabin, with plenty of room to "breath", yet still be able to enjoy the common area as a group for games or watching movies.
Amenities: Everything was as described, plus Marilyn has thought of everything you could want for cooking meals at in the great kitchen in the cabin.
Maintenance/cleanliness: The cabin is very well taken care of and very clean
Marilyn was extremely responsive to any questions or concerns that I had. Her typical response time via email was less than 2 hours.
A couple of tips:
* All 6 of us didn't have a single bar of cell service the entire time we were in Packwood (At&T and T-Mobile) - print your stay details out in advance so you don't have to rely on cell data!
* Throw blankets are in the ottoman in the living room
* The internet is a bit slow, especially if multiple devices are using it at once
* There are 2 great trails directly behind the cabin
In short, everyone loved the vacation and we'll definitely book the cabin in the future if we find ourselves considering the area."

"My family and I stayed two nights and loved it. Great little cabin. Short drive up to white pass to go sledding, skiing, etc. While we were there we had elk and or deer right outside the cabin both mornings which was pretty cool. My only complaint would be that it was 30° the day we got there and it was close to that inside the house so had to bundle the babies up until the house warmed up after turning the heat on. But there than that it was great. Would most definitely stay again."
