Great time with family!!!
"My family and little dogs thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Packwood and the Mountain view cabin! It was very well equipped and comfortable. The hot tub was also a nice touch. We did day trips to Paradise and Sunrise visitors centers at Mount Rainier, rode the gondola at Crystal mountain and drove around Mount St. Helens. The scenery and hiking were spectacular. The dogs weren't allowed to hike with us in the National parks but there seemed to be a lot of other options if you were so inclined. Don't miss "taco Wednesday" in town. All in all an amazing trip. I would stay at this cabin again!!"

"Mark and Sharon are great hosts for this well equipped, comfortable home located right on the Cowlitz River. We were visited by elk, osprey and eagles and thoroughly enjoyed the spotlessly clean home, grounds and hot tub. The home lies about 10 minutes north of Packwood which is an easy trek to town for essentials or to Mt Rainier Park or the area lakes for trail hiking or fishing. We would highly recommend this home to other travelers but it is a railess deck and high bank setting on the river so small children will need to be carefully watched."

"We stayed for 2 nights at the property. It is a house with lots of amazing details that made the house very unique and pretty. Each of the two bedrooms has a sitting area, which would make it very comfortable for two couples or a big family to stay. The property is also very close to the park entrance. We enjoyed the quiet environment and the flowers in the yard. Paul did a great job maintaining a beautiful house. Also, I must say that the bedding is truly of very high quality. I never stayed at any other VRBO properties that had better bedding.
I'd like to mention three more things, to me, they are not negatives, just want to provide tips for future explorers: (1) there is no wifi or cellphone signal in the house, if due to the characteristics of your work, you must be connected all the time, you might need to reconsider. For everyone else, we can just go to the local stores or restaurants to get wifi. (2) the stairs to second floor bedrooms might be a little steep for some seniors, need to pay attention especially coming downstairs. (3) If you plan to cook or BBQ, better bring your food in from cities on your way, the Ashford town center only has grocery stores similar to 7-11."

"My husband and our 3 kids really enjoyed the accommodations at Antlers Lodge. The area was beautifully wooded, had tall trees, wonderful hot tub and fire pit where we relaxed, talked and toasted marshmallows. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and pots/pans and we were able to get food at the grocery store in Enumclaw and cook a few nights. We did horseback riding at Crystal Mountain and drove to the Mount Rainier park to take in the wonderful sights while we were there. All of this was within 20 minutes of the house. There is a nice river and hiking trail walking distance if you want to get out and stretch your legs. The fresh air, mule dear, elk and the beautiful stars that came out as the camp fire faded all added to a wonderful trip. We slept great on the master bed and heard great reviews about the king bed upstairs and the twin beds in the kids room upstairs. They especially liked the loft-fort too. Cell phone reception was spotty and no TV, but that was actually just what we were looking for on this trip. Thank you for a great stay, we would stay there again in a heartbeat!"
