  • Clean, Decent Place to Stay

"This unit is a nice, clean third floor condo with a great view of the slopes and very convenient to the slopes (truly ski in and ski out) as well as the restaurants/shops in the Snowshoe Village Center. The convenience to everything is what makes this unit nice. If you are going to ski from sun-up to sun-down then this place is for you. You should know that the Mountain Lodge is a very tired looking (and feeling) place, kind of worn out and out dated, so isn't the best of you want to spend your time lounging. The internet is also horrible - we didn't care because we didn't go to Snowshoe to surf the internet - but if you are looking to do any kind of work or stay connected while you are there, you will need to go down to the common areas (lobby) to do it. Also, while there is a pool nearby, it is not connected to the building, and use of the pool is NOT included in what you pay. We were told it would cost $20 extra to pay for the pool. So the pool is not included in this price. If we had to do it again we would look elsewhere, but for the price and for what we were after (non-stop skiing) then this place worked fine and was very clean and in good condition."

  • Perfect for 2 big families

"Everything was in order. It is a big place and has all the equipment you need. Nice location. Friendly service - they even brought us clean sheets in the middle of our stay as we had the stomach bug and needed more sheets. Easy to cook, cozy place. We will return :-)"

  • Relax in Style

"A great place to unwind. This cabin has three floors and is perfect for 3 couples, families or in our case a husband wife getaway. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and includes an espresso and coffee maker. The bed we used was very comfortable. We enjoyed the covered outdoor hot tub, it overlooks the river and is very private. A cozy living room with a working fireplace was all we needed. One would be advised to bring their own music and speakers if this is important to you. The road to the cabin is full of potholes but easily navigable when you take your time. There is good hiking and fishing right out the door. We look forward to a return visit."

  • Beautiful huge cabin that is located in secluded area

"My first impression of this cabin is that its HUGE! Lots of room for lots of people... There are 3 bathrooms, one on each floor... The cabin was very clean.. The hot tub was awesome especially when it started to get chilly out...The fireplace was a great place to cozy up to in the evening...The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with...plenty of dinner plates, cups and silver ware.. The only thing was if your a coffee drinker bring your own coffee beans..It would have been nice if there was a small bag of coffee because we left ours at home...bring your own towels because the towels there were on the small side for big people..Location close to Blackwaterfalls State Park... The store was not to far away if you needed anything..We visited Smoke Hole Cavern, it was a very touristy place to go but it was interesting..I would rent again.."
