"We stayed at this condo while we attending the GNCC race in June. Very clean, spacious, and comfortable place to stay. There were 7 of us staying in this unit and we had plenty of room. Henry was VERY accommodating and was wonderful to deal with. We will definitely be back!"

"Very pleasant weekend stay at this well outfitted cabin off Simoda Rd. best part was coffee & scones on the porch in the morning. Wi-fi was a blessing, as no Verizon cell service in that section of WV. You must do breakfast @ Gateway Restaurant, just down the mountain. Great pie there as well. These mountains are, to use an overused term, awesome."

"We recently stayed in this unit for 9 nights and it was a wonderful experience! I would not hesitate to stay there again.
The condo was very clean with daily service and had tons of plates and silverware. Lots of stove items as well, but if you want to make something specific, I recommend bringing the tools along just in case :)
We invited my in-laws over for one of the weekends we were there, and the unit had more than enough room for the six of us and the 9 days-worth of food we brought with us. The rooms somehow managed to be spacious and have an abundance of storage, which was honestly my favorite part about this unit. One of the rooms is clearly a master bedroom, with a private full bath, while the other room is a bit smaller with a full bath attached to the hallway.
Location-wise, the condo itself is a little farther away from the ski-in/ski-out exit than other ML units, but that just meant that we didn't have to hear the CLUNK CLUNK from all the ski boots walking past our door, which was a big annoyance for us when we stayed in other units in ML. The unit is also on the first floor, and was close to one of the parking lot doors, making it really handy to get in and out for dinner etc.
Mountain Lodge itself is right at the Ballhooter lift, making it a GREAT place to start your Snowshoe skiing. The Village isn't too far away, and walking to the Village's shuttle stop (which gives you access to all of Snowshoe's locations) is easily do-able in ski boots.
The only negatives I can even think of were that one of the bedrooms shares a wall with the hallway and that can get a bit noisy if you want to sleep in, but as long as you keep your sleep schedule aligned with the quiet hours, that shouldn't be a problem. We didn't have any problems with people disrespecting the quiet hours :)"

"Yet another year for our Girl's Weekend! This place is just fantastic. Jackie and her son, Jay, were both extremely helpful. We even had a quick question about the hot tub and Jackie answered right away. The house is just amazing and nothing in the description is inaccurate (except there is no Apples to Apples game, but we learned from last year and brought our own!).
The view is great while sitting in the hot tub, campfire is so relaxing in the evening, grill worked well for our steaks and hot dogs and everything you need in the kitchen even whipped up some cream! The rooms are spacious with enough bathrooms on each floor. The screened porch and the open upper/lower decks are the best part. The Chalet truly makes for a great vacation.
Tari's for lunch and Atasia Spa were wonderful as always and I highly recommend if you go into town. Always good antique shopping as well."
