Just wanted to say thank you for letting us stay at the lodge and being so accommodating, especially with the earlier check-in. Everything was great, especially the VHS (i'd forgotten about those) of Finding Nemo. My 4 y/o daughter watched it every night.
I was happy to finally try someplace new as opposed to staying at Allegheny every year. Location was perfect and the view was really nice as well.
The parking garage was the real winner. I've been to Snowshoe at least 6 times and had no idea that garage existed. We actually got the spot right next to the elevator so it worked out better than we could've imagined.
We'll definitely be in touch if we end getting to go back next year. Thanks again."

Logger's Run - Great location; well-appointed townhouse
"Enjoyed our stay for the collegiate bike race. The house had everything we needed to keep our riders (and support crew, i.e., parents) well-rested and well-fed, plus a place to store bikes. The house was clean and comfortable, large dining table was a plus, and the location was very close (10 min walk) to the Village at Snowshoe. We could see part of the the cross-country race from our back porch.
Great to work with the owner and we would definitely recommend; indeed, we look forward to coming back next year for the same bike race."

"We just returned from an amazing time at this chalet. As everyone else mentioned, the views can't be beat! The deck, hot tub, and view are perfect, and we loved how quiet it was there. The inside was very comfortable also. We barely used the living area, but the couch seemed comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, and I was grateful for the thorough and accurate descriptions of what we'd find so we knew what to take with us...and take what you need because it's a trip to get to a grocery store. The downstairs bed was comfortable and the bathroom was as nice as described. Erika and Tim were extremely responsive before our stay and also when we had trouble locating something in the chalet. They contacted us right away to make sure everything was good. We went during the week, which made it especially quiet on the mountain. We didn't see anyone on our hikes, and The Woods golf course was pretty empty and a great deal...lunch there was good also if you don't want to fix all your own meals. As others mentioned, I wouldn't want to share this space with anyone who wasn't a close friend or family because the bedroom areas aren't very private, but it could be great for a family as long as you don't have young kids (the stairs are steep). As described, there's no internet (which makes it more of a getaway), and our phones (Verizon) didn't work well either, but good enough to get a call or email out when we needed...with a little patience. This is a true getaway, and we had to extend our stay by a day because we really didn't want to leave! Thanks for sharing your little piece of heaven."
