  • Fabulous, relaxing weekend!

"Yet another year for our Girl's Weekend! This place is just fantastic. Jackie and her son, Jay, were both extremely helpful. We even had a quick question about the hot tub and Jackie answered right away. The house is just amazing and nothing in the description is inaccurate (except there is no Apples to Apples game, but we learned from last year and brought our own!). The view is great while sitting in the hot tub, campfire is so relaxing in the evening, grill worked well for our steaks and hot dogs and everything you need in the kitchen even whipped up some cream! The rooms are spacious with enough bathrooms on each floor. The screened porch and the open upper/lower decks are the best part. The Chalet truly makes for a great vacation. Tari's for lunch and Atasia Spa were wonderful as always and I highly recommend if you go into town. Always good antique shopping as well."

  • Cute, cozy, private

"We arrived at night with quite a bit of snow on the access road. An AWD vehicle to reach the house would be strongly recommended, as mentioned by others. The setting is beautiful and private with a few other homes in the area - very quiet and secluded feeling overall. Inside, the cabin felt a bit smaller than expected, but clean and quite cozy, accommodating our small family and basset hound well. The owners have provided everything needed for a comfortable stay. They are very responsive to any issues and are in touch as necessary. Travel time to parking at Snowshoe was about 20+ minutes, depending on weather conditions and traffic, with several retailers (ski rentals, fuel, groceries) available on the way up. Overall we were pleased with our experience and would recommend this property to future visitors."

  • Perfect spring break family getaway

"This cabin was the perfect homebase for us during our spring break family getaway with 4 boys. Close to Adventures on the Gorge for ziplining, white water rafting, and day hikes. The property allowed them to go up the hill, run around, play football, and explore the pond. Hot tub was a HUGE hit! Kitchen well equipped with most everything you need, and a grill made cooking easy and economical every day. Rooms were quiet and warm. We will be back!"

  • Amazing is historical house in the perfect location

"We just came back from a short trip to this amazing house. It had a beautiful view, great location so we didn't have to get in a car if we didnt want to, and was gorgeous inside. I loved how it was kept true to its time period in the right places and updated in the right places. It was definitely undersold in the pictures. Also, to be able to walk out the door and be in town was great! My toddler and dogs were welcomed warmly and loved the place! Jill was great to work with and her wine shop next door is very cute and has a great selection! Thanks for a great trip!"
