"Great get away in the woods. Cozy cabin with plenty of room to roam. No cars, No people, No noise, NO STRESS. We celebrated our anniversary here with our 2 dogs and had a wonderful time. We went into town the first day for grocery's and never went back. The cabin is well equipped and has just about everything you could need. (If you cook like we do bring your own knives, i forgot mine and was sorry)
Our dogs were so excited when they jumped out of the car, romping in the woods, rolling in the leaves and doing dog things. We hiked up and down the side of the mountain and wore them, and us out. Tired happy pups at the end of the day. The bed had a very firm mattress, not a pillow top which didn't bother me but my husband didn't like it much.
The owners were great and happily answered any questions we had. Great communicators before, during and after our stay.
I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to get away from it all. I would run back here in a heartbeat and i'm sure we will. Thank you for a most wonderful stay!"

"The first thing my husband said was "I want a cabin in the woods now!" My family had a wonderful time at this rental. We made use of the kayak and the tubes, we even brought one of our kayaks so that we both could go together. My mother and daughters loved floating in the creek on the tubes, they didn't want to get out. We found a lot of cute shops in town and brought home a few trinkets. Everyone we met was very friendly. We had no issues with the AC being too loud like previous reviews had stated, and the washing machine worked just fine. It was in the mid eighties when we were there and the cabin was not too hot, in fact, most nights I was wrapped in a blanket reading a book in the main space. My family loved this cabin and my husband and I have actually discussed coming back again soon! Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"We had a reunion of high school friends for the weekend, and the chalet was perfect! We even had a baby and a pregnant lady who report that the sounds of the large group were pretty muffled in the furthest back rooms. Having two different spaces for socializing was great. We were here in the winter, so only used the hot tub outside, but the porch (including the screened-in section) looked like a wonderful place to sit in nicer weather. And we did take advantage of the big yard to play some football, and walked in the woods on the property. I highly recommend it!"

"Claudio, Thank you very much for the fabulous weekend we had at Jack Russell , your chalet was beautiful, clean and well supplied even down to the towel warmer. The well supplied kitchen was a blessing to prepare our home cooked meals ( how did you know i use keurig cups) While it was freezing out side with a snow storm it was very comfortable in side. My wife, myself and another couple that was with us all commented on the great night of sleep we had ( no noise, no disturbing lights, just a comfortable bed and sweet dreams). We are looking forward to staying at Jack Russell again in the near future when the weather is warmer so we can experience the frog pond and fire ring. Again thank you for the memories as we celebrated Kim's 50th birthday"
