"Six ladies who normally take an annual getaway at a beach location decided to try a long weekend in the country; and after seeing this lovely cabin on line, we were sure this would be the perfect retreat spot. The cabin is beautiful, well maintained and extremely clean. It was spacious for us with three bathrooms and four bedrooms. We enjoyed the atmosphere so much we bought very good and reasonable take out food from Panda Restaurant (Chinese) to eat in and also had a lovely gourmet meal at Lot 12. The local state park provided opportunity to hike and there is a small but very nice farmer's market on Sundays in town. On our way out of town toward Hancock, we had a good breakfast at the Potomac Grill. Very pleased and would highly recommend this property."

"Yet another year for our Girl's Weekend! This place is just fantastic. Jackie and her son, Jay, were both extremely helpful. We even had a quick question about the hot tub and Jackie answered right away. The house is just amazing and nothing in the description is inaccurate (except there is no Apples to Apples game, but we learned from last year and brought our own!).
The view is great while sitting in the hot tub, campfire is so relaxing in the evening, grill worked well for our steaks and hot dogs and everything you need in the kitchen even whipped up some cream! The rooms are spacious with enough bathrooms on each floor. The screened porch and the open upper/lower decks are the best part. The Chalet truly makes for a great vacation.
Tari's for lunch and Atasia Spa were wonderful as always and I highly recommend if you go into town. Always good antique shopping as well."

"I spent two weeks at The Homstead- the first week with my sister and her family and the second on my own. The owner, Sally, was wonderful - helpful and and accommodating! We loved the house and property! Plenty of space, warm and inviting, steeped in history. My nieces - 11 & 13- had plenty to do within a short distance. We went horseback riding, and they tubed, went white water rafting, zip lining, outlet shopping, fishing and swimming! My sister and I visited Atasia Spa and I returned the next week on my own. During the second week I was able to hike almost every day. And the dogs loved getting out on the property's "greenway" which was cut out in the fields on Sally's property.
It was a great two weeks - rest, physical activity all in a quaint historic house! Doesn't get any better than that!"

"Three friends stayed at the cabin over Girlfriends Weekend in Berkeley Springs. We had a terrific time and staying at the cabin was great. Coming back after a hard day of spa treatments and shopping it was wonderful to continue our day by relaxing in the hot tub just talking and watching the stars. The cabin is very clean and comfortable with all amenities provided. It was so nice to take your coffee out on the deck in the morning and watch the deer stroll by. The owner is also great to work with and responded very quickly when I had to contact her, answering any questions and sending info on activities that were happening in town while we were there. All in all, just a great place to stay."
