  • Love the river!

"The house was great! We had a plenty of room for a party of 5 adults and 3 children. Thank you for providing such a fairly priced, family friendly, vacation home."

  • This is not your average cabin!

"This cabin is minutes from Berkeley Springs and we found it rather easily. The price was right and the owner was a pleasure to deal with. Everything you need. But wait, there's more! This cabin is old, historic old. It has sloping floors, exposed stone fireplace, raw sawn timber framing etc. It is quite the rustic experience! On the other hand, it has a nice kitchen, up to date dishes/cookware, cute bathrooms, FAST wifi, nice covered grill... all you need. They even have an album showing the phases of construction it went thru. You can tell they really love this cabin. We absolutely loved it! It was an honor for us to be able to experience this piece of history. Side-note: Only one in our group was tall enough to be affected but if you are 6ft+ there is a good chance you will bang the snot out of your head on the upstairs doorways, but this added to the charm for us :)"

  • Better than anticipated!

"This is very nearly a perfect vacation home. We spent a week there with our family, including our five year old grandson. There has been a lot of thought given to making sure we had what we needed, and basically everything was there. This house is much nicer than the description conveys. On the first floor, there is a living area, dining area, kitchen, and two bedrooms, one a king sized bed and the other two twins. In the daylight basement, there is another bedroom with a king sized bed, and a second bedroom with two twins. This level also has a full bath, laundry, family room with fireplace and pool/ping pong table. There is a bar area with frig, too. The second floor has another bedroom with king sized bed, with a loft area that has two twin beds. This floor also has its own bath. Having three bedrooms with king sized beds made it very nice, so each couple had privacy as well as the ability to join the group. And my grandson was able to sleep near but not with mom and dad, and he could watch tv in the mornings while the grownups slept. We're already planning to return. Thanks to the owners. The setting is breathtaking -- we sat on the deck in the mornings, watching the mist burn off the mountains. This was just a very nice vacation."

  • Great experience

"This is the second year we've rented this cabin for a get-together of old friends. Everything about this cabin is nice -- the layout, the furnishings, the amenities. We tried several other cabins before this one and none even comes close. Thanks for everything, Steve! We'll be back."
