"The location of the cabin was very convenient to all the things we wanted to do. The large deck was wonderful for our traveling party, as was the lay-out of the cabin. We had two couples and three teenage girls on our trip and the cabin was roomy and very user-friendly. Being able to bring our dog was especially appreciated as well."

"Six ladies who normally take an annual getaway at a beach location decided to try a long weekend in the country; and after seeing this lovely cabin on line, we were sure this would be the perfect retreat spot. The cabin is beautiful, well maintained and extremely clean. It was spacious for us with three bathrooms and four bedrooms. We enjoyed the atmosphere so much we bought very good and reasonable take out food from Panda Restaurant (Chinese) to eat in and also had a lovely gourmet meal at Lot 12. The local state park provided opportunity to hike and there is a small but very nice farmer's market on Sundays in town. On our way out of town toward Hancock, we had a good breakfast at the Potomac Grill. Very pleased and would highly recommend this property."

"This historical cabin is so charming. It truly feels like you have stepped back in time once you enter it. Very comfortable and Carla was very attentive to our needs. We looked forward to the mornings in the sunroom sipping our coffee watching the deer graze. We enjoyed our days at Pipestem State Park, hiking, riding the tram and paddle boating on the lake. Great place to unwind!"
