"We had a fantastic stay in mid Feb. There were 3 families and we all fit comfortably. There is access to Cupp Run at the end of the street but if you call the shuttle it's usually there within 10 minutes. Taking the shuttle home is also very quick -- at the shuttle station just ask any bus driver to send a shuttle for South Westridge. The description is correct -- you really need 4WD for the driveway if there's snow. It's long and steep. We had to park at the bottom and carry all our things up. But the house is great and the views fantastic, so it's worth it!"

"Very nice place, just as advertised, however it has no air conditioning! It was very warm when we arrived and it was very difficult to cool it down even with fans, etc. (makes sense, of course, this is a ski lodge!) but just thought people should be aware of this, could be a deal breaker for some! Otherwise, snowshoe is beautiful and the blues fest and hiking in the area were great."

"Our family had a great time at Whitetail Lodge. The house was large enough to accommodate our large family. We loved the theater room and the fact that you could close the french doors and it contained the noise so the babies could take their naps peacefully. The house is only one mile from Snowshoe- and Snowshoe has SO much to do in the summer! Our kids had a blast. It was also a short drive to go down to Marlinton and rent kayaks and kayak on the Greenbrier. Cass Railroad is also just a few miles away. The hot tub worked perfectly and was a hit. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Everyone in our group commented on how comfortable the beds were also. We will definitely return!"
