"We were very pleased with the accommodations at Fazenda! The home was much bigger than what the pictures show. The kids loved the crows nest and the adults enjoyed all of the windows! We literally were perched in the treetops! We can't wait to return in warmer weather!
We spent most of our time at black water falls and hiking the trails nearby the house. It was just what we wanted!"

"This cabin was a true find! The location is ideal--lovely spot in the resort, close to town, great hiking, etc. The Black Bear Resort has beautiful grounds and we met nice people and dogs. The wrap around deck is just perfect--nice and shaded on one side and with beautiful views on the other. My dog loved hanging out on the deck--SO wonderful that this is a dog friendly cabin! When we needed the AC, it worked beautifully. The cabin had everything we needed for a wonderful time. Just a lovely, comfortable place that I can't wait to return to!"

"My wife, daughter, grandson, and I stayed in the cabin for a week at the end of July. The location is convenient, just off the main highway four miles South of Davis. The decor is very attractive with a large stone fireplace and open floor plan. The furniture is comfortable, especially the beds, and the kitchen has everything you might need. I liked the deck off the back with the hot tub. It was quite pleasant enjoying a morning coffee in the morning surrounded by the forest. There are restaurants nearby and two state parks to enjoy. The area is quite scenic. We went on a couple of hikes, a bike ride on the Allegheny Trail, and swam in the nice pool at the Canaan Valley Lodge. Nice vacation spot.."
