  • Perfect place for a family get together!

"My family and I have now stayed at both properties from this same owner. We have loved both. Laurel Creek Retreat was a perfect place for us. We had a large group with 4 kids, 4 years and under. The small cabin on the property was great for the 3 young guys in our family to have their own space. It was a beautiful location, easy access to outdoor adventures and had everything we needed to cook, relax and play at this retreat. Very clean and nicely decorated. Both the owner and manager were easy to contact and clearly tried to ensure we had a great stay. Our family comes from this part of WV, we will for sure visit again in a few years to enjoy the mountains and some rafting. I don't think we will stay anywhere else but Laurel Creek or Lynn's Pond House. I highly recommend both."

  • Beautiful Place Great Location

"What a GREAT trip we had. This cabin is GREAT and the location was GREAT. We stayed 4 nights and we made day trips around every where. We really loved The Mill. The leaves were soooooo Pretty. Brenda was SO NICE. Left there and went to the Smokie Mountains, nothing like WV. The cabin was clean and had everything that you would need to cook with. The beds were very comfortable. Loved this place. Wish it was not so far from home or I would go at least twice a year. Thank You gor sharing your cabin. Come to Oklahoma and stay with us?"

  • Nice retreat!

"All in all out stay was good. The property was nice and serene. I would recommend bringing firewood as there was none there and finding some close by would be difficult. The river is visible from the house, however, access is a walk down the road. There is a nice campground/recreation area down the road that we took advantage of. If you are interested in taking in some West Virginia this is a nice place to stay. I would also recommend bringing some linens and pillows. Also, if you will be arriving after dark, it would be advantageous to ask for a light to be left on as it is dark. I would definitely recommend."
