"This trip was planned to get away and enjoy some family time. Our two bedroom cabin was the perfect size for our family. Our two kids loved the bunk beds! The fireplace made the cabin cozy and heated the cabin well. It rained the whole weekend, but we will be back to explore! The cabin was clean and well furnished. We cooked burgers on the grill the first night and a full blown "Thanksgiving" meal the next night. We enjoyed our stay- thank you for allowing us to stay in your "little piece of heaven"!"

"We just returned from a weekend in Fayetteville for a rafting trip. 9 friends traveled in and everyone loved the place. Everything was in great condition and it lacked nothing. The owner/manager has thought of everything that you might need or want. The whole house was very clean and comfortable. Our entire group had private sleeping quarters without even having to spread to the smaller cabin. The house was only minutes from New & Gauley River Adventures who we rafted with so it is very convenient. Middle of nowhere but still near everything. We would definitely stay again in the future."

"All in all out stay was good. The property was nice and serene. I would recommend bringing firewood as there was none there and finding some close by would be difficult. The river is visible from the house, however, access is a walk down the road. There is a nice campground/recreation area down the road that we took advantage of. If you are interested in taking in some West Virginia this is a nice place to stay. I would also recommend bringing some linens and pillows. Also, if you will be arriving after dark, it would be advantageous to ask for a light to be left on as it is dark. I would definitely recommend."

"About 10 years ago I discovered this cabin while looking for a girls weekend destination near Summersville Lake. My friends and I instantly fell in love with this beautiful, clean cabin and the wonderful hospitality we received from Brenda and Fred. We have come back every year since in July for our annual retreat and in recent years added a fall or winter getaway. The cabin is beautiful, clean and well stocked with almost anything you need to cook. The views are gorgeous regardless of the season. It is conveniently located for taking advantage of the many activities in this beautiful section of West Virginia. The hot tub is always clean and in great working order and the bedrooms are beautifully decorated. I have been visiting the Summersville/ Fayetteville area for years and stayed in many other cabins but none compare to the service and hospitality we receive from Brenda and Fred."
