"What does a city girl need in the middle of winter?? A weekend getaway with her three girlfriends to the beautiful mountains of West Virginia! Our stay at the Jack Russells Ridge was amazing! This warm and cozy cabin had everything we could need and more for our weekend trip to Berkeley Springs. Clean and comfortable, we enjoyed watching movies and playing games while watching the snow fall as we unwound from our busy, hectic lives. We hope to return in the summer when it is warmer and can enjoy the many outdoor activities the area has to offer. We highly recommend!"

Great Location and Perfect Set-Up for a Large Group Stay on the Mountain
"We had a group of 13 staying for a long weekend at Snowshoe for skiing/snowboarding and other winter fun! We had plenty of space for our group and the convenience/amenities provided by this unit definitely contributed to the success of our weekend. We loved the ski/snowboard room at the back of the house, just by the entrance to the slopes. Having this space conveniently located by the back door, where we could get all suited up and ready to go without having to track snow/ice through the rest of the house, was outstanding! The hot tub was a great amenity and we cooked a big pasta dinner in the kitchen. The garage had been converted to a large room with 4 bunk beds, a sofa and tv with PS3 - this was the perfect room for the single guys on our trip, but I can imagine it would be a great room for teenagers travelling with a family as well. The downstairs even had a full bathroom with a shower which meant the guys didn't have to walk up 2 flights of stairs to get to a shower. The only complaint to our stay was that the hot tub was only around 55degrees when we arrived so it took until the 2nd day before it was warm enough to use."

"I organized a group of 11 guys to adventure to this oasis in the woods for a bachelor party and weekend of outdoor adventures. Nothing disappointed at all, and the accommodations, views, surrounding nature, and tranquility were absolutely perfect. This house truly has everything you need. Two fridges, tons of kitchen amenities, lots of dry wood, directions for every necessary power element, and the most stunning views of the West Virginia mountains we have ever seen.
The drive up in the summer isn't too bad, we had low clearance cars that made it just fine. It rained all day our second day but we made the best of it and still hiked the trails behind the house. Rooms are plentiful and water pressure for showers is quite nice considering you are off the grid.
All around 5-star experience. Would absolutely return again and can only imagine winter is even more fun. Don't miss this unique home!"
