  • Good value at Snowshoe

"Attractive and comfortable condo right on the slopes at Snowshoe. Very nice beds, kitchen, and TV."

  • Great fall trip

"The property was terrific - spacious, clean, plenty of comfortable sleeping, good bathrooms and kitchen, a wonderful Jacuzzi, ping pong table, and terrific scenery just outside the door. It was convenient to hiking trails and the ski lifts. The owners couldn't have been more accommodating. We happened to be there when the high country was wearing its fall colors, and what a glorious sight. This property would be our first choice on a return trip to Snowshoe."

  • West Virginia Cabin

"Stayed here early October for 3 days (spouse and dog). The cabin is remote, quiet area and beautiful. Right beside the Greenbrier Trail allowing you biking, walking and enjoying wildlife (deer etc). Cabin is perfect. Deck has ample room for relaxing, reading and enjoying your favourite beverages. You can get to the cabin with your car (grade is steep but slow 2wd front drive on dry day works) Having a 4WD is better if weather turns (rain, snow). Once we arrived with our grocery stocks, stayed there for 3 days (need to get out to open and close 2 barnyard gates every time you leave the cabin). It was a great stay, beautiful setting for the cabin, quiet nights... It was amazing being right down in the forest next to the beautiful river and trail. There is a TV for dvd movies and or games (no cable). The cabin was nice, clean, and comfortable (well stocked with dishes, pans, pots). NO CELL PHONE service but a land line at the house for emergencies. Would recommend you bring your own hair blower (there was none there). I would definitely recommend this property to anyone especially pet dog owners. Before arriving we visited CASS (scenic railroad rides couple hrs north), Shoshone mtn skiing (sight seeing), Droop Mtn Battlefield 25 mins away and of course Lewisburg (15 mins) is very nice."

  • Definition of Excellence

"My wife and I recently stayed in ML 125 and we couldn't have been happier there. The owner is top notch. The condo is very nice, roomy, comfortable, and conveniently located. We found everything we needed in this ski condo. We had to drive almost 14 hours to get to Snowshoe and we were exhausted when we arrived. We made a phone call to the owner and he graciously allowed us to check in a little early so we could get some sleep before we started skiing. The condo was very clean and up to date. It also has its own wireless router which provided a very strong signal. The washer and dryer, which is rare at Mountain Lodge, was very nice to have. We had no issues with this condo whatsoever. It is also located about 50-75 feet from the door that leads to the slopes. Mountain Lodge is located directly on the slopes and about 100-200 yards from Village Central. I would highly recommend this nice 2 bedroom to anyone looking to stay at Snowshoe."
