  • Sweet Spot

"Such a great place to stay for our trip! The den was so cozy, especially when we turned on the fireplace. The hot tub was literally one step out the back door. The home was very nice, clean & well-decorated. Everyone couldn't stop complimenting what a great place it was. The kitchen was fully furnished with any and everything you could want or need to cook, too. Quick note -- if you're renting this place during the early season, there's a chance that it may not be a ski in/ski out. We stayed the first weekend in December and after our last trip to Snowshoe we knew we definitely wanted a ski in/ski out. Unfortunately, if there's no snow or if the Soaring Eagle lift and runs aren't operating, this isn't a ski in/ski out. Other properties in the Village were ski in/out during the early season. We had no idea about this, so I just wanted to give a heads up to anyone who may be looking at renting this place in early or late season. We wished we would've known since our #1 reason for renting this place was b/c it was a ski in/ski out. But, during peak season when you can ski in and out, it would be the most perfect place to stay, no doubt!! Again, amazing property in nearly every way, so I would highly recommend to anyone, especially during peak season!"

  • Great Trip!

"We had a group of 7, and had a great time. House has a lot going for it, most snowshoe condos have very convenient locations for accessing slopes or Village area, but are rather small. The west ridge homes have lots of space, but are not within walking distance of village. This place is large enough for big groups, and within walking distance of slopes, restaurants. definetly a hit with my friends and I, and will be on the list to return again."

  • Soaring Eagle was great!

"Better than expected 4th floor condo in secure building with underground parking. The views from the 4th floor balcony were amazing! 2 bedrooms both with plush King beds and 2 full bathrooms, one with a soaker tub. The condo was VERY CLEAN and very tastefully decorated. The only thing that kept it from being perfect was no wi fi, and no tv in the 2nd bedroom. It was also a short bus ride from the center of town, which is where all of our events were going on, but the Snowshoe shuttle was conveniently out front. Will definitely repeat. Thanks"

  • West Virginia Cabin

"Stayed here early October for 3 days (spouse and dog). The cabin is remote, quiet area and beautiful. Right beside the Greenbrier Trail allowing you biking, walking and enjoying wildlife (deer etc). Cabin is perfect. Deck has ample room for relaxing, reading and enjoying your favourite beverages. You can get to the cabin with your car (grade is steep but slow 2wd front drive on dry day works) Having a 4WD is better if weather turns (rain, snow). Once we arrived with our grocery stocks, stayed there for 3 days (need to get out to open and close 2 barnyard gates every time you leave the cabin). It was a great stay, beautiful setting for the cabin, quiet nights... It was amazing being right down in the forest next to the beautiful river and trail. There is a TV for dvd movies and or games (no cable). The cabin was nice, clean, and comfortable (well stocked with dishes, pans, pots). NO CELL PHONE service but a land line at the house for emergencies. Would recommend you bring your own hair blower (there was none there). I would definitely recommend this property to anyone especially pet dog owners. Before arriving we visited CASS (scenic railroad rides couple hrs north), Shoshone mtn skiing (sight seeing), Droop Mtn Battlefield 25 mins away and of course Lewisburg (15 mins) is very nice."
