"We found the "Tips Up" ski condo to be a great place to spend a long weekend in Snowshoe! The condo has a great amount of space for our family of four (kids 6yrs. & 9yrs). The heated mudroom, proximity to the slopes and the short walk to the shuttle bus stop were very convenient for our young family. The condo was nicely equipped and made cooking & doing laundry very easy each night. Our kids loved feeding the deer and playing in the snow just outside the back door. Free firewood and the wood burning fireplace were a plus! Our only negative comment is that the couch is well loved!"

"This is one of the coolest places that we've stayed using VRBO. The location is perfect with restaurants, shops, and outdoor stuff all within walking distance. When the tourists show up (a lot of them) you'll appreciate the on-site parking. Or take Amtrak, the station is very close to the house. The house is clean, authentic, cozy, and roomy. If you run out of things to do in Harper's Ferry, nearby Loudoun County VA has over 40 wineries. Also the college town of Sherperdstown is a few minutes north and has lots of shops and restaurants. We will definitely try to go back at some point."

Logger's Run - Great location; well-appointed townhouse
"Enjoyed our stay for the collegiate bike race. The house had everything we needed to keep our riders (and support crew, i.e., parents) well-rested and well-fed, plus a place to store bikes. The house was clean and comfortable, large dining table was a plus, and the location was very close (10 min walk) to the Village at Snowshoe. We could see part of the the cross-country race from our back porch.
Great to work with the owner and we would definitely recommend; indeed, we look forward to coming back next year for the same bike race."
