  • Amazing is historical house in the perfect location

"We just came back from a short trip to this amazing house. It had a beautiful view, great location so we didn't have to get in a car if we didnt want to, and was gorgeous inside. I loved how it was kept true to its time period in the right places and updated in the right places. It was definitely undersold in the pictures. Also, to be able to walk out the door and be in town was great! My toddler and dogs were welcomed warmly and loved the place! Jill was great to work with and her wine shop next door is very cute and has a great selection! Thanks for a great trip!"

  • MLK Weekend

"We had a wonderful experience. The owner was always prompt to respond to questions and was even so kind to purchase a crockpot for the condo for us to use. It was nice having dinner ready to go after a day on the slopes! We really appreciated him doing that so we didn't have to bring our own. Given that it was a holiday weekend, there were lots of people staying in the building itself so it was a little noisier than we would have liked. There's a 10 pm "quiet rule," but sometimes people don't abide by it. The condo is near the arcade but we never heard noise from that-just noise from people in the hall. The condo's location is ideal. Very convenient to the Village, the pools, the provisions store and equipment rental. It was nice having a TV in the bedroom, too. The pots and pans weren't the best as the non-stick is starting to show wear, but I wasn't expecting high-end cookware. If you're a gourmet cook planning on staying a full week you may want to bring your own favorite pot or pan. Otherwise for a few days, the cookware is perfectly fine and almost everything you need is on hand. If you do cook and have leftovers, bring some containers for those. The owners seem to be very conscientious about keeping the place up and were absolutely wonderful to rent from! Tremendously helpful with information about the building, amenities, local interests, ski rentals, etc. You can tell they want you to enjoy your stay. We'll hope to stay there again and recommend it to others."

  • Relaxing and Cozy

"We had a truly relaxing Anniversary weekend in this cute and cozy cabin in the woods. Spent a lot of time in the hot tub and reading in front of the gas log fireplace. Hosts were responsive and it couldn't have been easier to book. Berkeley Springs is just a 15 minute drive and we highly recommend checking out Lot 12 for some delicious local food."

  • Spring renewal

"I spent a week here in early April and it was marvelous. Frosty mornings by a warm fire and day walks up the hill or down the valley. The accommodations are roomy and comfortable."
