Just wanted to say thank you for letting us stay at the lodge and being so accommodating, especially with the earlier check-in. Everything was great, especially the VHS (i'd forgotten about those) of Finding Nemo. My 4 y/o daughter watched it every night.
I was happy to finally try someplace new as opposed to staying at Allegheny every year. Location was perfect and the view was really nice as well.
The parking garage was the real winner. I've been to Snowshoe at least 6 times and had no idea that garage existed. We actually got the spot right next to the elevator so it worked out better than we could've imagined.
We'll definitely be in touch if we end getting to go back next year. Thanks again."

"I've stayed at Snowshoe twice with my family and this condo is a SUPER 3 bedroom value. We have 2 teenagers-boy and girl, so each had their own room! The only thing they were outspoken about was the internet which did tend to be on the slower side- but that's something you will find throughout all lodging on the mountain. The master bedroom and master bath are HUGE. The master bath has a double sink. Haven't seen that option in many condos old or new. I've stayed at many ski resorts and ski homes in the Northeast, Colorado, CA and British Columbia so, I feel qualified to say this condo is an excellent option if you need a 3 bedroom that won't break the bank! The decor is cozy and updated and offers more square footage and bedrooms and bathrooms then most other MORE expensive lodging options on the mountain. Yes, there are some fairly steep stairs that you have to walk up to or down from to get to the unit or to the slope but you can always take the shuttle which comes by about every 15 minutes. The stairs are a good way to warm up and or stretch after skiing! Take the money you will save on selecting this lodging option and go on a snowmobile expedition. The kids said the snowmobiling wins over ski-in-out!
The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and even knives that will actually cut. Rare for ski houses/condos. The living room has 2 sofas and chairs. Plenty of space for everyone! The gas fireplace operates with a push of a button. The rear deck offers fabulous views and deer come to visit. We had plenty of towels.
The owner was fantastic and returned our security deposit within a few hours of our departure. We would definitely recommend this unit and hope to rent again in the future!"

"This is a very nice property for an active family. The home is located within 5 minutes of two pools, fitness center, tennis courts and only 7-8 minutes from two golf courses. One of the courses is a mid-length course and well suited for beginning golfers, kids and walkers who don't want to commit to the full five miles of walking a standard 18 hole course. The home itself is perfect for a family of 5-6, and the enclosed patio and large deck allow room for everyone to stretch beyond the warm living room, if they choose. The location is quiet, the rarely seen neighbors were nice, and there are plenty of deer to watch through any number of windows. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants to hike some of the local trails, as the house is centrally located to a few nice trails. As a side note, I left my favorite swiss army knife there, and would be willing to pay shipping if anyone comes across it! We had a blast and would look forward to returning again."

"What does a city girl need in the middle of winter?? A weekend getaway with her three girlfriends to the beautiful mountains of West Virginia! Our stay at the Jack Russells Ridge was amazing! This warm and cozy cabin had everything we could need and more for our weekend trip to Berkeley Springs. Clean and comfortable, we enjoyed watching movies and playing games while watching the snow fall as we unwound from our busy, hectic lives. We hope to return in the summer when it is warmer and can enjoy the many outdoor activities the area has to offer. We highly recommend!"
