  • Wonderful place to stay

"We had an awesome time staying here. Very modern, clean, and the view from the balcony is indescribable! The resort staff was very friendly, and accommodating. Tim, the owner was also very accommodating, as well as pleasant to communicate with. He went out of his way to provide the information we needed. I will defiantly stay at his condo again!"

"We stayed here while visiting snowshoe for some early season turns. We found the kitchen to be very well stocked compared to other VRBO experiences. The location is great, rooms were updated, clean, comfortable, affordable, and just the right size."

  • March 2014 Snowshoe Trip - Stay at Silver Creek

"I almost always read reviews on products and services in general, but I very rarely write one. However, my experience with Robin & Jeff was so good that I just had to write a short review. I, my girlfriend, and 6 of our friends stayed in Unit #5306 in the Silver Creek Lodge. This is a two bedroom condo, and though it sleeps 8, I would say that 6 is probably the ideal. That said, with the 8 of us being friends, even when space was a little tight we had an absolutely great time. The unit is very well appointed and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need for cooking. We cooked all of our breakfasts and dinners in the unit with no problems. The only minor issue we had was that the air mattress on the pull out sofa had a hole in it. Robin & Jeff happened to be on the mountain that weekend and they had the mattress replaced in no time. Robin also showed us around their other units and were just generally great to work with across the board. Very prompt responses, very professional, and very pleasant. :) The reviews on here were so good I was skeptical they were even real at first, but they absolutely are, and I'm happy to post one now myself. I would recommend this or any of their other units to friends and family in a heart beat, and I would book with them again with absolutely no reservations. Thank you for a wonderful time and for setting a high standard for other owners!!"

"Had a wonderful time! The owners were personable and available if anything was needed. All amenities were used and appreciated. The weather wasn't the best, below zero, so the indoor pool, hot tub and downstairs lounge area were very welcomed. There were 2 adult men with 7 teenage boys. Although everyone had a great time, an extra set of bunk beds in one of the bed rooms would have been more useful than three rooms with either king beds or queen. But that was just our situation, I'm sure with more couples, the extra queen bed would be great. Would definitely go back. ;-)"

Snowshoe Travel Tips

Nestled into Pocahontas County in West Virginia is the village of Snowshoe. This town, located at the base of Allegheny Mountains, is full of welcoming charm and atmosphere.

The main travel focus of Snowshoe is centered around skiing at the Snowshoe Mountain Resort, but there's much more to see and do here away from the slopes. Though the town is most well-known for its winter activities with almost 500,000 skiers visiting every year, there's plenty to do year-round.

Aside from terrific options for snowy activities, Snowshoe also offers a variety of cultural attractions to enjoy during a romantic trip or fun family vacation. Try the various local dining establishments for delicious meals and explore all that Snowshoe has to offer, no matter the season, so you can learn more about the area's history, heritage and residents.
