  • Family vacation to snowshoe

"We stayed at shamrock 77 for a family vacation and had a wonderful time. It is the nicest place we have stayed at snowshoe! Very clean, spacious and close to slopes! Owner was great to work with also and there was attention to detail throughout the town home! Parking was also very easy and we were there at a crowded time. Highly recommend!!"

  • Just what we were looking for

"Perfect location, accommodation and set up for our family of 5 with young children. It was Spring break while we were there. The mountain got very busy by the end of the week. Soaring Eagle is an upscale lodge located just out of the village which suited us for a quieter, more peaceful stay in the evenings when we were exhausted after snowboarding all day. The village was still reachable either by shuttle or traversing the slopes. The outdoor hot tubs were a blessing for the aches n pains and the underground parking made for convenient snow free access to our vehicle. The owner Harvey was extremely easy to work with and we would definitely stay here again."

  • Really Great Mountain Lodge Unit!

"We recently stayed in this unit for 9 nights and it was a wonderful experience! I would not hesitate to stay there again. The condo was very clean with daily service and had tons of plates and silverware. Lots of stove items as well, but if you want to make something specific, I recommend bringing the tools along just in case :) We invited my in-laws over for one of the weekends we were there, and the unit had more than enough room for the six of us and the 9 days-worth of food we brought with us. The rooms somehow managed to be spacious and have an abundance of storage, which was honestly my favorite part about this unit. One of the rooms is clearly a master bedroom, with a private full bath, while the other room is a bit smaller with a full bath attached to the hallway. Location-wise, the condo itself is a little farther away from the ski-in/ski-out exit than other ML units, but that just meant that we didn't have to hear the CLUNK CLUNK from all the ski boots walking past our door, which was a big annoyance for us when we stayed in other units in ML. The unit is also on the first floor, and was close to one of the parking lot doors, making it really handy to get in and out for dinner etc. Mountain Lodge itself is right at the Ballhooter lift, making it a GREAT place to start your Snowshoe skiing. The Village isn't too far away, and walking to the Village's shuttle stop (which gives you access to all of Snowshoe's locations) is easily do-able in ski boots. The only negatives I can even think of were that one of the bedrooms shares a wall with the hallway and that can get a bit noisy if you want to sleep in, but as long as you keep your sleep schedule aligned with the quiet hours, that shouldn't be a problem. We didn't have any problems with people disrespecting the quiet hours :)"

  • Great place for a ski weekend at Snowshoe Mountain

"We were two families of four (with teenage children) who found this house very comfortable and plenty big enough. We had a small issue with the hot tub on our first night, but the maintenance person sorted out for us the next day and it worked perfectly after that. The house is about 10 minutes from the slopes and we would recommend the Silver Creek area as it was much quieter than the other areas with no queues at the lifts (and we were there on Presidents weekend!). We don't have any complaints about the house at all. It wasn't easy to find, so perhaps the owner could include a map with the directions - we were lucky to run into a very helpful local (on the road at midnight!) who actually took us to the entry to Hawthorne Valley."
