  • Better than I hoped for

"The pictures don't do justice, the cabin is beautiful and cozy. Patio view allows a scenic look out over the mountain. It's a great place to get away from the world and relax. Also near by is Berkeley Springs which I had no idea is a pretty popular tourist area. Many things were provided that I didn't expect also, such as fire wood and charcoal."

  • Fantastic unit at the Soaring Eagle!

"My husband, 3 year old daughter and I decided last minute to do a weekend away in Snowshoe. I found this unit on VRBO and I am so glad I did because it was a perfect fit for our family. Beautiful, spacious condo at a very nice, newer hotel. It is truly ski in/ski out for all levels and the Village is just a short drive (shuttle or personal vehicle) down the mountain. The owners of the unit and the staff at the Soaring Eagle are wonderful and made our trip very easy and relaxing. We look forward to coming back again!!"

  • We'll keep coming back!

"Another lovely stay at the cabin. I keep introducing friends to it. A great location that's just remote enough and still close to conveniences. I have yet to ever turn the TVs on. A perfect writers' retreat!"

  • Perfect for a Small Family

"Really.... it is. Location is awesome! Right at the top of Balhooter and within sneezing distance of pizza - what more could a 15-year old and his parents want? Very comfortable, clean, and pleasant. Kitchen was well-stocked with measuring cups, bakeware, etc., so we saved a ton of money because I cooked much like I do at home. Added bonus: Staff is very nice, and the view is spectacular! This is an excellent value, and we'll definitely be back!"

Seasons to Travel to West Virginia Cabins

West Virginia has four distinct seasons and residents often boast that each season is more beautiful than the last.
