  • Fabulous, relaxing weekend!

"Yet another year for our Girl's Weekend! This place is just fantastic. Jackie and her son, Jay, were both extremely helpful. We even had a quick question about the hot tub and Jackie answered right away. The house is just amazing and nothing in the description is inaccurate (except there is no Apples to Apples game, but we learned from last year and brought our own!). The view is great while sitting in the hot tub, campfire is so relaxing in the evening, grill worked well for our steaks and hot dogs and everything you need in the kitchen even whipped up some cream! The rooms are spacious with enough bathrooms on each floor. The screened porch and the open upper/lower decks are the best part. The Chalet truly makes for a great vacation. Tari's for lunch and Atasia Spa were wonderful as always and I highly recommend if you go into town. Always good antique shopping as well."

  • Perfect Rental

"The accommodations were perfect for our large family. I can't think of a single issue to discuss and communications with Linda were spot on. My only issue is with the lack of night skiing on snowshoe main slopes."

  • Our Whooping Fine Time At Iona

"My friend and I looked for a half way spot for us each to travel where we could meet with our dogs to visit for a couple days. It was a boon to come across Iona Cabin. Perfectly off to itself with the creek a stone throw away. We very much enjoyed our stay in part because of the well stocked kitchen and comfy beds, large outside deck to hear the stream as we watched the birds at the feeders. We plan to return so just dont book when we want to go back but book it:)"

  • Amazing time in an Incredible home.

"We had such an amazing time in this home. All amenities needed, pet friendly and fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of activities to do both inside the home and within a short distance. Very quiet. Only recommendation is that you bring a humidifier. The air is dry so be prepared. And phone service is sketchy but they provide wifi so you're covered. We didn't go there to be on our phones anyways. We will rent this home again!!"

West Virginia Travel Tips

Seasons to Travel to West Virginia Cabins

West Virginia has four distinct seasons and residents often boast that each season is more beautiful than the last. The valleys and low-lying areas tend to have a milder climate with cool winters and pleasant summers. The central parts of the state and more mountainous regions are generally more temperate.
