  • Family reunion

"This beautiful, secluded cabin was the perfect place for our family reunion with small kids. The rental process was very easy as the owners are quick to respond and offer helpful information. They have equipped the cabin with everything you could need. Beds were lovely...so comfortable, and the bathrooms were spotless and roomy. We had a nice time fishing at Little Bear State Park which was just a couple of minutes away and the kids enjoyed an Easter Egg Hunt in the trees and bushes surrounding the cabin. We also really enjoyed the fresh, delicious food at the Dish Café which was just down the road. We would come back again and highly recommend this place."

  • Awesome place to stay for a crowd!

"I have stayed so many places at Snowshoe with my 3 kids and this so fat is the best! But this time I had 4 kids + 2 adults and it was perfect. The place has been nicely upgraded (better than I have experienced in Alleghany, Rimfire and Powder Monkey by far)! We had plenty of room for the 4 teens and the living area was perfect for a crowd with two couches and a loveseat. Dining was easy between the large table and bar, and the kitchen was fully stocked. I cooked for 6 several times and wanted for nothing. Walking up to the Village was very close and easy in street shoes. Kids could safely go alone. The stairs were a bit challenging in ski boots but a shuttle came by very often so we hopped on that as needed. For the price, you won't find a more spacious upgraded place at Snowshoe. The owner was soooo nice throughout the entire process and we were so thankful for the flexible late checkout on the last day to fit in a hearty Junction breakfast and a few more runs. Look for us again, for sure!!!!"

  • Beautiful house, perfect location, great owners!

"Just returned from a fantastic three day weekend at Paradise Found. This house has everything you need for a great stay. We had a group of 13 adults in their early 30s/late 20s and it was perfect for a group trip of both couples and singles. The rooms were set up so you could have as little or as much time together as possible and we never felt cramped. The house is less than 5 minutes from both Timberline and Canaan Valley Resorts, so it was a perfect location. Laura, the owner, was great to work with. She responded in a timely manner, gave us all the information we needed, and the house was exactly as described. There's nothing quite like relaxing in a hot tub after a chilly day on the slopes or curling up in front of a fire and the house has everything you need! My group is already planning a trip back to the area next winter and we'll definitely be staying at Paradise Found."

  • Great Time

"Had a great time at this house near Snowshoe ski resort. House is really big with multiple tv rooms, foosball table and hot tub. Had no problem sleeping 9 there. House is a short drive to the ski resort. It snowed quite a bit before we got there so we had to park at the bottom of the driveway and walk up to the house. Not a problem for us but might be for someone who needs help. There is no cell phone service or internet at the house. Just a phone that you will need a phone card to call long distance. Kind of nice to get away but something you should be aware of going in."
