  • Best Week EVER!!!

"This property exceeded all of our expectations. I will say that the pictures do not do it justice!! This property is heavenly. Everything in the house was just as promised. It was comfortable, quite, and relaxing. We enjoyed walking down to the river every morning and doing some fishing and the kids enjoyed the park for swimming. We loved sitting on the back porch while drinking our morning coffee. The sounds and the scenery are breathtaking. Over this entire process of finding this property through our stay, it was an absolute delight working with Duane and Joyce. We hope to be back soon. If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind, this is by far, your best bet. You will not be disappointed."

  • Perfect spring break family getaway

"This cabin was the perfect homebase for us during our spring break family getaway with 4 boys. Close to Adventures on the Gorge for ziplining, white water rafting, and day hikes. The property allowed them to go up the hill, run around, play football, and explore the pond. Hot tub was a HUGE hit! Kitchen well equipped with most everything you need, and a grill made cooking easy and economical every day. Rooms were quiet and warm. We will be back!"

  • Excellent Value/Close to everything!

"I've stayed at Snowshoe twice with my family and this condo is a SUPER 3 bedroom value. We have 2 teenagers-boy and girl, so each had their own room! The only thing they were outspoken about was the internet which did tend to be on the slower side- but that's something you will find throughout all lodging on the mountain. The master bedroom and master bath are HUGE. The master bath has a double sink. Haven't seen that option in many condos old or new. I've stayed at many ski resorts and ski homes in the Northeast, Colorado, CA and British Columbia so, I feel qualified to say this condo is an excellent option if you need a 3 bedroom that won't break the bank! The decor is cozy and updated and offers more square footage and bedrooms and bathrooms then most other MORE expensive lodging options on the mountain. Yes, there are some fairly steep stairs that you have to walk up to or down from to get to the unit or to the slope but you can always take the shuttle which comes by about every 15 minutes. The stairs are a good way to warm up and or stretch after skiing! Take the money you will save on selecting this lodging option and go on a snowmobile expedition. The kids said the snowmobiling wins over ski-in-out! The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and even knives that will actually cut. Rare for ski houses/condos. The living room has 2 sofas and chairs. Plenty of space for everyone! The gas fireplace operates with a push of a button. The rear deck offers fabulous views and deer come to visit. We had plenty of towels. The owner was fantastic and returned our security deposit within a few hours of our departure. We would definitely recommend this unit and hope to rent again in the future!"

  • Beautiful West Virginia

"We enjoyed our time in this lovely home. The pictures tell it all. The bed were VERY comfortable a must for us after a day in the wilderness. The home was immaculate. The directions were easy to follow. We were 45 min. from Seneca Rock and about 30 min. from Dolly Sods. The DVD collection was great along with all the books. Just didn't have enough time to enjoy them all."

Seasons to Travel to West Virginia Cabins

West Virginia has four distinct seasons and residents often boast that each season is more beautiful than the last.
