  • Just what we were looking for

"Perfect location, accommodation and set up for our family of 5 with young children. It was Spring break while we were there. The mountain got very busy by the end of the week. Soaring Eagle is an upscale lodge located just out of the village which suited us for a quieter, more peaceful stay in the evenings when we were exhausted after snowboarding all day. The village was still reachable either by shuttle or traversing the slopes. The outdoor hot tubs were a blessing for the aches n pains and the underground parking made for convenient snow free access to our vehicle. The owner Harvey was extremely easy to work with and we would definitely stay here again."

  • Peace and quiet with beautiful surroundings

"This is a wonderful place to stay and get away from it all. My family and I have come here about 10 or 12 times in the past 21 years. We like the peace and quiet, the pleasant outdoor surroundings, the fall colors, and hiking the local trails. Our favorite time to visit is in the Spring and the Fall. When the weather is warm, we open the windows to hear the mountain stream cascading over the rocks as it circles 180 degrees around the house. The house provides all the comforts of home without the stress. It is nicely decorated and well maintained. The stone fireplace works well and the floor to ceiling windows in the great room look into the woods and down to the stream. Unlike many of the homes in this area, Zeeplace has no other homes right next to it. It has the feeling of being by itself on the hill side. These are some the many reasons that we have returned again and again."

  • Wonderful winter wonderland!

"This was our first visit to Snowshoe and we cannot wait to come back next year! My 6 year old saw snow for the first time and my 17 year old had a blast on the slopes! Everything was super clean and super convenient. The village is adorable and has fabulous food! Though we came mid march, and a lot of the restraunts were closed for the season and so was the tubing. But we still had a blast! Teena is a doll and I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a great ski resort."
