  • Nice renovated unit with great location

"Good unit for a short stay. Well equipped. All kitchen appliances are "studio style" so they're a bit small -this was perfectly fine for us as we were only staying 2 nights. The freezer was very tiny though, fair warning! We used a cooler for some extra beverages. Stayed naturally cold on the balcony. Queen Bed was comfortable (sofa bed is like any other sofa bed... A little thin) and bedroom stayed completely dark even when it was very light out (window goes out to hallway so not much reason to open it) Internet is notoriously bad at Snowshoe. If you really need internet access, the owner of this has other units with dedicated wireless internet that will be way faster. But it met our very basic needs at times. But we're mostly there to ski and get off our screens. :) The building is older, and around 8 AM you start hearing ski boots, etc outside your door if you're in the bedroom, but can't hear it from the living room. But you should be at snowshoe to ski, not sleep in, so not too much of an issue. Location can't be beat and while the building is older the views are pretty and unit is very nicely renovated. Great place for the price."

  • Awesome Snowshoe Rental

"The location of this house could hardly be better, only a few short steps away from Upper Flume, above J-Hook, giving you easy access to Soaring Eagle and Ballhooter lifts. Being an end unit, with a garage, we were able to park 4 cars at the house. The second floor contains the main common areas of the house, with a nicely equipped kitchen, a large dining room table (seats 12) and a living room with a decently sized TV, wrap around couch and plenty of floor space. Our group of 12 adults and 3 children easily congregated on this floor with room to spare. The 5 bedrooms are slightly small, but given the location this is a reasonable trade off. Most of the beds are King or Queen, with several bunk beds. All of the adults were able to sleep in a real bed, which can be tricky when your group gets this large. The house has a Netflix enabled Blu-Ray player for entertainment. This came in handy with the toddler. Overall, this is our favorite house compared to the other 4 or 5 we've rented on the mountain. We hope to reserve it again, or at least another in Logger's run for our future visits to Snowshoe."

  • Great family getaway! Great communication.

"My brother and I rented the Black Bear Chalet and each brought our son with us for a guy's weekend. We were not disappointed. The cabin was clean when we got there, and the boys loved the loft. There was lots of room to hike and search the property, TV for them to watch movies and play games and a super cozy fire to keep warm. The kids were never bored and it gave my brother and I a lot of quality time to catch up. While we had an issue trying to get the hot water on at first, Mike and Ann were unbelievably responsive. They ensured that we had everything we needed for a fantastic trip. We even forgot some items in the cabin and Mike and Ann were kind enough to send them back to us. We'll likely be back again!"
