  • Absolutely perfect!!

"We were recommended this cabin by friends of ours that had stayed here last year. We were definitely not disappointed! The cabin is beautiful, both inside and out! Very picturesque location, nice private area, but also close enough to lots of shops and spas. The fireplace is very cozy and was one of my favorite parts about being there in the winter. Everything we needed was pretty much provided for us, the kitchen was perfect for cooking a meal big enough for the whole family. The guys enjoyed the pool table and the girls enjoyed sipping wine around the bar...we even were able to use the gas grill to do steaks the last night there. The master bathroom has a beautiful whirlpool tub that was so relaxing. Lots of room for all eight adults to spread out in. We had great communication with the owner, he made the booking experience very easy. We are definitely planning a return trip back this fall! Thanks so much!"

  • Canaan Valley Getaway!

"Great place to stay while visiting Canaan Valley! We stayed New Year's week with a family of five, our dog, and plenty of ski gear. There was plenty of room for everyone. The cabin was exactly as advertised, about a 10-12 minute drive from Canaan Valley and Timberline. About an equal drive into Davis for groceries or restaurants. The resort itself has plenty of trails, a perfect place to exercise the dog before we went skiing. He slept while we were gone! Brian does an outstanding job of communicating with prospective customers, and checked up on us during our stay. Also whatever you need during your stay, you can call onsite maintenance right there at the resort. (I had a question about the heater on an especially cold night, got the answer straight away, no problems). We would definitely book again on a return visit!"

  • Just the Right Balance

"Peaceful surroundings. Conveniently located but reasonably secluded. Clean, well maintained property. Beautiful home. Babbling brook. If any or all of the preceding appeal to you, then contact David and Karen to make your reservations right away! David and Karen made all the logistics of our weekend getaway as easy as it could possibly be. They provided detailed directions, clear and concise instructions as to where things were and how things work at the cab, and answered all of our questions quickly and completely. Rippling Waters itself was a joy to spend time at. My wife and I greeted each day listening to the stream rippling down the hillside, our kids enjoyed winding down each night in the well featured hot tub. The scenery is beautiful and the cabin location is secluded enough that privacy is not a concern while relaxing on the deck or in the hot tub. Seneca Rocks, Dolly Sods, Blackwater Falls, and many other attractions are close by so there are many things to do when you venture out to explore the area. There are several good restaurants nearby as well so you can easily shift between grilling on the deck, making a meal in the full kitchen, or going out to eat at your whim. We will definitely be going back to Rippling Waters and will also be recommending any cabin or home owned and managed by David and Karen to family and friends."
