  • Cozy Condo

"The condo is perfect for a small group of family (less than 6). Although it is a bit of a walk up some stairs to get up to the slopes, it's still well located."

  • Wonderful Family Ski Chalet

"Let me start by saying that the home owner, Suzanne, was wonderful and easy to work with. That alone makes the vacation experience that much better. My family set out to find a house within walking distance of the slopes at Timberline. This chalet was perfect. We could walk down the hill and past the condos to the base of Salamander in about 60 seconds. Furthermore, we could ski down either Salamander or any combination of slopes from the top to White Out and walk down hill back to the house in the same 60 seconds. My 6 year old did not once complain about the distance and we made several trips to and from the house each day. In many cases, you couldn't park your car at the lodge and walk a shorter distance. Inside the house you will find a charming, unique design suitable for a small to mid size group. We had 4 adults, 1 child and an infant. We were very comfortable. The kitchen is the highlight of the house. It is beautiful and very functional. Our favorite touch was the sleigh used as a pan holder from the ceiling. Both the upstairs and downstairs living areas were very comfortable and the hot tub is a perfect end to a long day of skiing. There is also a separate ski entrance that has both inside and outside ski racks. It was nice being able to store our gear out of the way of everything else. Overall, our experience was top notch. I would certainly stay in this house again and absolutely recommend it to those looking for a great value that is nearly ski in/ski out. Todd W."

  • A perfect mountain getaway

"I rented this cabin as a birthday present for my adventure loving boyfriend and myself to get away for a few days. This cabin is in the middle of the mountain highlands playground! We ran around Dolly Sods, Blackwater River, and went cross-country skiing. After full days of enjoying WV's outdoor beauty, it was a dream come true to sit in the hot tub and watch the stars come out. Dan was so helpful and kind. We will definitely be back :)"
