  • Very nice home!

"My hubby and I and our dog stayed here for six nights. We were very pleased! There is NOT a hot tub but that wasn't a big issue for us. The house was very clean and the bed was made when we arrived. The view from the deck is awesome, the master shower is huge, the master bedroom bed and big sectional in the great room are so comfy and the kitchen was very nice. We ate in the whole time we were there! The house sits on a quiet street where we walked our dog twice a day and we visited often with the very nice owner as he worked in the garage next door. Our stay was perfect! Thanks so much to Marti and her dad. We hope to come back again."

  • Great ski in/out location - comfortable condo

"For a first timer at Snowshoe I was very pleased with my stay at the Mountain Lodge. Upon arrival the attendant working the front gate was very friendly and very helpful with providing general information about the area. Check in was very easy and with the room being on the far end of the building, unloading and loading was rather easy. As others have said, there is a very nice view looking off of the balcony. I'm sure that during the Fall season it would be absolutely beautiful! The unit was very clean and stocked well with dishes and everything else that was needed. Room also and a Play Station 2 with some DVDs and games if you were to be in the room killing some time. As someone stated in a previous review, the unit does get somewhat hotter than what the thermostat is set for. The lodge is set closely to the Ballhooter lift which makes it very convenient if you need to run in to the room for anything. It's also a quick walk over the Village. Overall our experience was very good and I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking to get away for a weekend. Tim seems very nice and his email with instructions are very informational as well as humorous!"

  • Ski Weekend

"This was our second stay in this unit and there were no surprises. It was clean, comfortable, close to the slopes and the pool. They updated the internet connection to Wi-Fi which was nice. No issues with anything not working properly, linens and bedding were fine and the kitchen was supplied with everything needed as advertised. We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and would stay again."

  • Grandma's House

"I went skiing with my co-workers one weekend and we used Nola's house to spend our nights. It made our trip very enjoyable knowing we could rest comfortably every night in a quite little town. Nola's house had everything we needed. Sally, the owner, was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. A snow storm delayed our arrival by a day. Sally was instrumental in advising us on road conditions and the best route to take as news reports were announced of the impending storm. In the end, we arrived a day late, but the trip was still worth it, and the house made it so!"
