  • Relaxing getaway

"I recently stayed at the lodge with my girlfriend for a few days and we had a wonderful time. The lodge is secluded but also fairly close to two small towns where you can get the essentials. The house was very clean and cozy. Teresa (owner) was very attentive and accessible. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this lodge!"

  • Great Stay!

"Everything was wonderful and excellent with our stay and experience with both the condo and the owner. Condo was comfortable and perfect for a family ski trip. Very easy access to and from slopes. Would definitely recommend!"

  • Good choice for our young family

"The owners have several units in the building. This is a review for 2BR/2Ba unit that faces the pool. The building is definitely showing its age but this overall was a very nice condominium. The unit is very clean and nicely furnished with everything that you need. We stayed with our two young children on MLK weekend. Despite the holiday, the Silver Creek side of the mountain was still pretty quiet and the slopes were not too crowded. Magic carpet right out the door for my a 3 yo and plenty of runs to keep my 6 yo intermediate skier entertained. The tubing hill is very close to the condo, another plus for the kids. Having such easy access to the indoor/outdoor pool was a great amenity to burn off the rest of the kids' energy at the end of the day. Only complaint would be that we had some noisy neighbors across the hall, but that's really out of the control of the owners and was easily fixed with earplugs. (I also think you run that risk in a condo on any holiday weekend at most east coast ski resorts.) It looked like the restaurant pickings were a little thin in the Silver Creek area but we were cooking our meals in the condo, so that's more an observation than a complaint. The other side of the mountain might be better for people who wanted to eat all their meals out. Jeff and Robin made the whole process go very smoothly and we appreciate their hospitality!"
