  • Amy

"My husband and I, along with 2 other couples, wanted a weekend getaway to ride our 4-wheelers and see the beautiful Elk River. The cabin was a great place to stay and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. We enjoyed the hottub immensely. The master bedroom was extremely nice and cozy. Will definitely come back again to enjoy the scenery."

  • Well-appointed, clean and cozy

"Our family of five (including our 4-legged furry one) had a great time! Easy access to mountain but quiet and relaxing at same time. Thoroughly enjoyed being able to cook all our meals with every possible cooking item provided. Owner was super hospitable and checked in during stay. The jacuzzi next door was an extra amenity that really added to stay. Condo wonderfully equipped with everything needed to make you feel at home. And the awesome price doesn't hurt either!"

  • 50th reunion

"I stayed at Nola's House to attend my 50th High School reunion with a few other high school classmates. The hostess was extremely accomodating and had no problem with our going and coming several times during the stay. The house had room for our group to gab half the night without disturbing others. It is a place that is spacious with cozy areas to gather. It was also within walking distance of the Road Kill Cookout, an annual event in the area, and the Greenbrier River Trail so we enjoyed some fall biking. I definitely recommend the area for its quiet beauty and and small-town friendly people and Nola's House for its spacious coziness and gracious host."
