  • Awesome!

"My family of four stayed here for a week of summer vacation. Our children are 12 and 13 years old. The cottage is outstanding. The area is fantastic as well. We only traveled from Green Bay so we were vaguely familiar with the 'Chain of Lakes.' After being here the first day and kayaking on Spencer Lake and then taking our fishing boat over the Chain of Lakes... I am so glad we did not stay 'on the Chain.' The Chain is only five minutes away so it was easy to go and enjoy it... we rented a pontoon boat on the chain and swam off of it etc... but it was so busy and the lakes so crowded. If I had stayed on the chain even two days I would have been sick of it. Coming back to the peaceful Dragonfly cottage was much better. We also loved swimming in Waupaca at Shadow Lake in a city park called 'South Park.' The park had a huge raft with a high dive and slide in a natural lake with a beach. We spent a whole day there. We also spent a day at Hartman Creek State Park biking... Absolutely loved it. The cottage has everything and more. Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

  • Had a very nice stay

"The cottage was everything as described. It was clean, well stocked and comfortable. The county park up the road was very nice and a great place to soak the sun and water. Great fish fry at the Launching Pad. City was close and had a large selection of businesses. The owner was helpful and responsive. I would recommend this cottage to friends and relatives."

  • Incredible!

"My family and I just spent an incredible week at this beautiful home in Wausau, Wisconsin. Looking at the pictures you can only 'imagine' the wonderful feeling of staying in this very secluded, spacious and awesome home. The little ones spent hours enjoying the sandy beach right outside the door. The owners provided a whole closet full of toys including an antique doll house and even fancy dresses for the kids to play dress up. What fun! The hot tub was wonderful and enjoyed by all. Our family is very large and the house afforded plenty of room for all, even to enjoy moments of privacy when needed. Wausau ( a good size town ) is just minutes away by car and has everything to accommodate all shopping needs. The home is very pet friendly with acres of land to explore and a very large pond for them to swim. Beautifully and lovingly decorated. We will not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Hopefully we can go back when all our schedules allow. Thank you Lyn and Jeff for a wonderful week and wonderful memories."

  • Fantastic Time at the Bungalow!

"We brought our grand children here for the 2nd year in a row. Had a wonderful time. We love eating our meals on the big enclosed porch. Never used the kitchen for eating. Granddaughter caught 89 fish and let the whole lake know when she caught a bass or bull head. We had boats by the dock the next morning. This is a great fishing and swimming spot. Enjoyed a fire at night roasting marshmallows. We love going to Silvercryst for supper. We also like going to Wild Rose for miniature golf and of course the Ice Cream. We love going to the surplus supply store on 21 in Red Granite and found a great place to buy meat, Kountry Pride Farms in Omro - right on 21. We bought cheese at the cheese place on 21 but found it lacked flavor. Like the cheese place in the Dells much better. The cottage is nice and kept up. I would definitely recommend this place. The only thing I wish we had was WIFI."
