  • Love this place

"We have stayed at this cabin two years in a row and expect to back in the future. We love the Waupaca area and this cabin is the right combination of getting away from it all and being comfortable and connected. The cabin is on the small, quiet, no-wake Lake Beasley. The lake is clear and great for swimming, kayaking, fishing and canoeing. It was great that two kayak's and two canoes were provided. The only negative to the property is that the shoreline is mucky. If you had small children that wanted to walk right in to the lake from the shore this place would not work. However, it does have a long pier with an attached floating raft that goes far enough into the lake that you can jump and swim right off the end and be in good water for swimming. There is a large area shown in the picture with a fire pit. We used it most nights. The cabin itself is certainly not luxurious, but has everything you really need. Including a tv with cable and internet access. Beds are comfy and each bedroom has a air conditioner/heater that when on can really heat/cool the entire cabin. We had to use the heater one night that got pretty chilly! We also love the Waupaca area. We have a favorite restaurant (The Wheelhouse), ice cream place (Scoopers) and we love to hike and bike in Hartman State Park which is basically across the road. The owners of this cabin also will consider pets, which is great. I think our dog had as much fun on vacation as we did. We just love sitting on the pier and drinking coffee in the morning and looking out over the lake. That is truly paradise to us."

  • WE LOVE LITTLE POND!

"First I want to say that the review that Lin wrote is unfair. She should have addressed her concerns with Merideth and her husband and they certainly wouldn't have had such a bad experience. The things she complained about should be expected in any cabin in the north woods. My partner and I have nothing but good things to say about Little Pond Lodge. We literally feel like we own a cabin that we can go to anytime. Our Dog's love it and so do we. In fact, We are heading there this weekend and cannot wait. Excellent place to stay. We reccomend to all our friends and we certainly think we have made new friends with the owners of the Little Pond Lodge. They care about the guests that stay with them!"

  • LOVED IT!

"We had a wonderful weekend here. It is so peaceful and beautiful I would recommend it to anyone who needs a getaway or a romantic weekend. The house is immaculate and every amenity from paper towels to pancake syrup is provided. The beds are comfy and the game room is fun. I have absolutely no complaints and can't wait to plan another getaway here soon!"

  • Perfect Family gathering place

"We needed a large place for family to gather for our daughter's wedding. A place to feel at home while being 1400 mi. from our home. This place is unpretentious, yet pleasant and inviting. A place where having small ones around does not put their parents on egg shells fearing they might break something. My only regret is that there was not more time to gather everyone for more relaxing and hanging out. But that’s how weddings go. The kitchen with its 2 islands and adjacent great room is probably over 1200 sq. ft in and of itself. Then there is still enough space throughout the rest of the house to ‘get away’ if you need a little more personal space. My only suggestion is that you bring your own portable sound system – we really needed some mood tunage! We had a number of great evenings hanging out on the deck - great place to be out doors and never be bothered by the bugs!"
