  • Great Lake Home for a Group!

"Our stay at Deer Path was outstanding! What a blessing for the owners to have such a great getaway! We held our family reunion at Deer Path with 16 people. My family loved the accommodations provided. Everyone was "wowed". We have been holding our reunion for 20 years and have stayed at lake properties in western Wisconsin and Door County. This one is the best yet. The grounds were beautiful with ample space for lawn games and socializing. The place was clean, lovely and spacious. The kitchens were stocked with most any utensil, plate, pot or serving bowl you might need for a group. They thought of everything for a comfortable stay. It was so nice to even receive a call from Edie the morning after arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. Thanks again for sharing your lake home for a memorable family weekend!!!"

  • Beautiful house, beds not so great

"We had 8 adults for a week and enjoyed our stay. Our adult children really enjoyed the outstanding Wi-Fi system which even played on the wonderful covered front deck . We rented the pontoon boat, a must. Our biggest complaint would be the beds, they were not comfortable, especially the bunks and the loft futon is almost unusable for an adult, we bought a inflatable after a few days but there are no curtains in the loft so sleeping was iffy, would be ok for kids who sleep soundly. The kitchen was not well stocked for cooking, this is definitely a "man's" world. The location was great and the owner very friendly. The beach was muddy so you really need the boat. We would stay there again but bring a lot more of our own items."

  • Love this place

"We have stayed at this cabin two years in a row and expect to back in the future. We love the Waupaca area and this cabin is the right combination of getting away from it all and being comfortable and connected. The cabin is on the small, quiet, no-wake Lake Beasley. The lake is clear and great for swimming, kayaking, fishing and canoeing. It was great that two kayak's and two canoes were provided. The only negative to the property is that the shoreline is mucky. If you had small children that wanted to walk right in to the lake from the shore this place would not work. However, it does have a long pier with an attached floating raft that goes far enough into the lake that you can jump and swim right off the end and be in good water for swimming. There is a large area shown in the picture with a fire pit. We used it most nights. The cabin itself is certainly not luxurious, but has everything you really need. Including a tv with cable and internet access. Beds are comfy and each bedroom has a air conditioner/heater that when on can really heat/cool the entire cabin. We had to use the heater one night that got pretty chilly! We also love the Waupaca area. We have a favorite restaurant (The Wheelhouse), ice cream place (Scoopers) and we love to hike and bike in Hartman State Park which is basically across the road. The owners of this cabin also will consider pets, which is great. I think our dog had as much fun on vacation as we did. We just love sitting on the pier and drinking coffee in the morning and looking out over the lake. That is truly paradise to us."

  • Guys Weekend

"We had a group of 10 guys from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Arizona. We golfed then enjoyed the amenities of this place. Hot tub, yard and beautiful cabin. We had more than enough space and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We told the owner before arrival that we would leave the place cleaner than when we arrived. HAHA!! They had this place immaculate. We tried our best! The owners were more than accommodating! You have a nice secluded area to enjoy your time. I highly recommend this place. Thanks!"
